The compact vision sensor iVU closes the gap between the imaging equipment and the sensor level. The iVu sensor can be parametrized directly via an internal touch screen and is thus the solution for many applications, which otherwise would only be very complex to realize by using a large number of normal sensors.

Typically operating in the 2µm to 14µm spectral range; that covers the LWIR (8-12μm) and MWIR (3-5μm) thermal imaging wavelength range. The xiD series is based on the most advanced Sony CCD sensor (available till 2025). As CCDs, they boast high sensitivity and 14 bit dynamic range. The cameras have excellent passive cooling properties, great performance and allow USB bus powering. The board-level versions include a system integration guide for designing an optimal heatsink and enclosure. Due to the implementation of a 4 tap readout, this series supports the maximum frame rates that the sensors deliver.

he xiB-64 camera series with 64 Gbit/s is the host for the fastest image sensors out there. It features lower resolution high-speed sensors (2 Mpix at 2500 Fps) all the way to ultra high-res sensors with unmatched framerates (65 Mpix at 72 Fps). All models can be equipped with an active lens mount and long fiber optical cables.
