Our flexible ball transfer units provide a simple solution for transporting lightweight to heavy goods along all directions. Our ball transfer units enable you to easily move, rotate and control your conveyed goods. The ball transfer units are constructed so that a very smooth run is possible in all directions, even when moving heavy loads (depending on the version). In a configuration where the ball transfer units are offset from the vertical with overhead mounting, it is possible to achieve a reduction in the load-carrying capacity of up to 50%. Many of our ball transfer units are low-maintenance and feature an oil-soaked felt seal against contamination. Ball transfer units with plastic load balls are excellent for moving loads with delicate surfaces (such as glass, polished aluminum, brass and steel sheet).

Thanks to ACIMEX equipment, a single person is enough to handle the lifting and depositing of the tubes, up to a maximum weight of 30 tonnes. The machines can also be used to ensure vertical and horizontal handling or rotation of the loads. Finally, their nesting is performed without any human intervention. secutex protective sleeves are vital when turning over coils. The lifting strap is attached to a crane hook and attached to the load with the secutex protective sleeve. During lifting, the strap moves freely through the protective sleeve while the latter remains motionless against the load. This means that turning the load 90° is possible without any problem whatsoever. If the load is paced to the other side according to the same principle, it can be also be turned by 180°. The lifting strap can slide through the protective sleeve during the turning process. The protective sleeve and load, however, remain in constant contact. Our tips for safe turning – The lifting strap is exactly at „12 o‘clock“ over the centre of the coil. – Only individual, unpackaged and cleanlywrapped coils may be turned. – A nonslip surface, such as the secutex turning mat (cf.p. 102] must be used. – The coil must be prevented from rolling in or sliding perpendicularly to the lifting strap.
