The barrel pump's universal adapter fits onto container openings of 30 - 70 mm, closing tightly. The container screw joints can be screwed into the container with the 3/4" thread and lock nut. The gas-tight barrel pump enables odour-free transfer. During transfer with normal pumps, it is impossible to prevent vapours escaping into the atmosphere. The gas-shuttle method avoids this. Any vapours produced are returned from the container which is to be filled to the original container via the gas-shuttle pipe. The gas pipe and the liquid pipe are additionally provided with stopcocks. Gas-tight pumps are used for substances that have a strong smell such as ammonia.

The FERRET pipe cleaning machine is a user-friendly and handy tool for cleaning horizontal and vertical flue gas pipes. This eliminates the need for strenuous cleaning with brushes on a rod or awkward fiddling with rotating shafts. This significantly reduces the cleaning time. The FERRET machine is driven pneumatically. The oscillating brush propels the machine forward automatically and ensures an excellent cleaning result. Air consumption is low. A work area of approx. 0.5 m in front of the boiler is more than sufficient. Use the FERRET machine to clean your flue gas pipes up to a residual temperature of 150 °C. The use of special vacuum cleaner nozzles means that work is carried out virtually dust-free.

Europem can supply complete flare systems which include knock-out vessels, water seals, molecular seals, conical purge gas seals, pilots and ignition systems. Additionally, Europem has developed a unique ATEX zone O vapour extraction system for use in conjunction with VRU’s, combustors, flares and thermal oxidisers. Although purge systems are the perfect solution for flash back prevention, the flow of purge gas can always be lost. The membrane nitrogen generators NM-GEN extract the available nitrogen from the compressed air. Membrane nitrogen generators use hollow fibre membrane technology to separate nitrogen from other components in compressed air. The membrane uses the principle of selective permeation to produce purity nitrogen. Each gas has a characteristic permeation rate, which is a function of its ability to diffuse through a membrane. Oxygen is a fast gas and is selectively diffused through the membrane wall, while nitrogen is allowed to travel along the inside of the fibre, thus creating a nitrogen-rich product stream. The oxygen-enriched gas, or permeate, is vented from the membrane separator at atmospheric pressure.Most of the slow gases and a very small amount of the fast gases continue to travel through the fibre until they reach the end of the membrane separator, where the product nitrogen gas is piped to the application.
