Starts bearing a year after being planted. Considered a more winter hardy variety, also tolerates drier and hotter conditions. Gives best results when positioned in full sun or part shade. Pruning should be done twice a year. POLLINATORS: Self-pollinating. FRUIT APPEARANCE: Round to conically shaped and shiny, jet black in color, with a firm texture and sweet taste and mild aroma. The fruit doesn’t fade, leak or soften even in hotter weather. FRUIT SIZE: Medium-large to large. HARVEST: July to mid-August.
