CAVAS International supplies IQF – individually quick frozen – fruits and vegetables as food ingredients. Our IQF processing yields simply frozen and naturally delicious whole fruits and vegetables, as well as smaller pieces for your ingredient needs. Frozen vegetables are not only cheaper and easier to prepare but also have a longer shelf life and can be purchased year-round. Because vegetables are usually frozen immediately after harvesting, they generally retain many of their nutrients. IQF Red Pepper, made from whole, fresh, and healthy vegetables, is uniform in size and free from impurities. Peppers of the Elephant’s Ear variety undergo the following production process: washing, cleaning, removal of seed lodges and stalks, and then they are cut into cubes. The product undergoes optical sorting and metal detection to ensure uniform quality and the removal of foreign substances. Product packaging options include a 10 kg cardboard box with a blue PE bag or a 20 kg PE bag. Finished products are stored at -20℃ until delivery.

IQF Flamed Pepper, made from whole, fresh, and healthy vegetables, is uniform in size and free from impurities. Sound, healthy, well developed, well cleaned, practically free from husk, pale silk and free from any organic and non organic foreign material. Both ends are cutted, size of the cobs as required: 25 mm, 35 mm, 65 mm, 140 mm.

Green peas in a quick-frozen state are hard, rolling, well-cleaned, intact, healthy. Its color is characteristic of the breed, it is uniform green. It is practically free of yellow, spotted, insect-damaged, injured eyes.

Well cleaned, free from any foreign material (organic and non organic). Sound kernels with good cut. Practically free from hard skin. Crack on the skin, kernels with light dried by frost on the surface int he I. class are allowed. Colour is typical for variety white-yellow, golden yellow and dark yellow.

Laminated films with barrier are specially designed for use on high-speed horizontal or vertical flow-pack machines. Almost all of these films are delivered with AF treatment and can be printed flexo or roto sandwich type. They are used for packing several kinds of products: Emmental cheese, raw-dried meat products, coffee, pet food, bakery products, generally for bulk products or low humidity products. NON-BARRIER OR MEDIUM BARRIER FILMS They are used for the packaging of products which do not require special storage conditions, or which maintain their shelf life without the need for special properties of the packaging. They can be configured in a very wide range of structures depending on their application and the particularities of each packaged product and are used for fresh or frozen vegetables, bakery products, chips, raw-dried salamis, frozen fish, etc. They can be delivered with the AF option and can be customized by roto or flexo printing.

If you want to freeze vegetables of various kinds, you should choose packaging which features increased mechanical properties, resistance to puncture and resistance to low temperatures of storing, while preserving the taste, colour and properties of frozen fruit. On the film we make both surface and interlayer printing in the form of laminates, which prevent the printing from being rubbed off when refrigerated and additionally secure the stored goods.

We are pleased to announce our new Biodegradable Polypropylene film for applications including HFFS, VFFS and Overwrapping, and we will be one of the few companies offering this exciting new film. Our polypropylene film (HSF5112B) will decompose into a waxy like substance breaking down into CO2, water and biomass in outdoor terrestrial environments (including landfill) within a maximum of two years or sooner (subject to conditions). Using additives from Polymateria in the extrusion process enables the chain-breakdown of the base material whilst maintaining recyclability and product performance.
