Polyflon offers FEP tubes in IDs ranging from 0.2mm up to 100mm and due to FEP being melt processable, very long continuous lengths are possible. Excellent chemical resistance, surface smoothness, transparency and purity of FEP tubing make it the material of choice in many fluid handling applications within the semiconductor, chemical process plant, instrumentation, bio-tech and medical markets.

Fluoroplastic tubing exhibits chemical, eletrical, temperature and non-stick properties, and solves problems possible with no other material. We offer fluoropolymer tubing in hundreds of standard sizes with a variety of wall thicknesses (including thin wall tubing). We also produce special custom fluoropolymer tubing. Fluoroplastic heat shrink tubing offers high resistance to temperature, chemicals, solvents and UV light. Processing aids are used in many applications for the optimization of processing conditions to avoid problems in the end product. The melt flow of the polymer in the extruder is improved and the shear forces during transfer to metallic walls are reduced by the fluoropolymers present. Material output can be increased by adding processing aids, and energy costs can be lowered thanks to pressure reduction. They are also an effective remedy for problems like shark skin and nozzle deposits.
