FIBC’s are one of the most cost effective and ideal types of packaging for shipping and storing dry bulk products. Big bags are produced from either tubular or flat polypropylene (PP) woven fabrics. These fabrics can be both coated or uncoated and vary in different weights depending on the requirements of the Safe Working Load (SWL), or Safety Factor (SF). An FIBC can be as simple as an open top with a flat base used commonly within the building industry or as a high tech unit produced within a clean room production environment to be used for the food/pharmaceutical industries. Most importantly, each FIBC is manufactured to meet a customer’s specific requirement.

Our Ventilated Big Bags (FIBCs or Jumbo Bags with air stripes) are breathable, protective and very strong. They will provide you with the reliability and safety that you and your customers are looking for when packing and transporting your valuable products like: potatoes, onions, beans, grains, nuts, wood logs or a similar product. Each FIBC can be tailor-made to suit your product’s properties and the circumstances of the transport so that your product arrives in the best condition possible.

Our 1 – 2 point lift Big Bags (FIBCs, Jumbo Bags), often containing a liner to keep hygroscopic products such as these dry, are the perfect, easy-to-handle solution for your product! The Big Bags are used mainly for relatively low packaging weights of 500 – 1500 kg and in situations where filling speed is crucial. The bags are filled and transported on one or two loops, making it easier for you to transport more big bags at once. This flexible packaging solution can be tailor-made to speed up your processes.

The Q bigbag design is constructed utilising inner baffles which help to maintain the cubic form once the FIBC has been filled. These baffles are manufactured specifically to allow the material to flow into the corners of the bag. Because of this design and cubic shape of the Q bag which requires less storage space and reduces transportation costs up to 30% in comparison with a standard big bag. National or international transportation of hazardous goods is regulated with UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods which aim to prevent possible accidents and consequent problems as well as to minimize the environmental effects. In order to assure that the UN classified goods are safely transported and stored, we subject our UN Bags to related tests and provide our customers with certificates given by independent international test houses. In respect to UN recommendations, we perform the following 6 tests in our inhouse test laboratory to verify the quality of the said bigbags: Top lift test Drop test Topple test Righting test Stacking test Tear test All approved bigbags have a valid UN certificate and the certificate info is marked visibly on each bigbag.

In 4 loop big bag production we have a wide range of products which can answer to all special requests of our customers. Our big bags keep various products produced in different industries from humidity, electrostatical hazards and external factors, elongate the shelf life and assure a safe storage and transportation with no loss of quality. While designing and manufacturing our big bags we prioritize safety as well as our customer’s demands and needs. We provide different design options for different industries. Standard big bag types are available for a loading capacity of 100 to 2500 kg and according the EN ISO 21898:2005 regulation can be manufactured as 5:1 (single use), 6:1 (multiple use) or UN (Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods) in conformity with the certificates issued by reputable international test houses.

Cost-benefit wise 1 &2 Loop bigbags are the most advantageous bigbag types. While the simple construction facilitates the usage, various fabric widths permit a wide volume range. Its unique design provides the maximum loading capacity at a minimal cost and consequently assures advantages in freight cost as well. This type can be designed both for non-hazardous goods described in EN ISO 21898 and hazardous goods classified as UN. Depending on the handling process, the bigbag can be manufactured either with 1 or 2 lifting loops, with coated or uncoated fabric and with or without liner. The liners can be attached to the outer body in different ways depending on the requirements.

In 1989, UCAR Synthetic Packaging started the activity in order to provide engineering service,UCAR Synthetic & Packaging’s main activities expanded to bigbag and producing different types of sacks in 2006. UCAR Synthetic takes place on industry, agriculture, construction, service and mine sectors as a supplier by prioritizing the quality and consumer satisfaction FIBC production had started in 2006 , mostly with domestic networking. Our company had started to export its products and produce various types of FIBC(TYPE A,B,C.sling bag, container bag etc..) in 2011. We had established the production of hygiene bags late 2015. We had exported our products to different 16 countries. We reached the capacity of producing 75.000 FIBC/month. In 2015, we made total $6.000.000 turnover. In 2016, we already doubled the numbers in 6 month period, compared to 1st 6 months of 2015

DO YOU FILL OR EMPTY BIG BAGS? Please remember that many dusts in conjunction with air have a high risk of explosion. Flours, sugars or aluminum dusts are well known as an explosion hazard. But even the dust of products such as fertilizers, rubber, tobacco, spices and many other substances can cause explosions. Therefore, when processing such products, conductive big bags must be used. Grounding is required for these types of big bags to prevent ignition due to electrostatic charges. The Big-Bag filling machine can be used for batching cereals, sugar, compound feed, mineral fertilizers, granules and other bulk materials. The FIBC fiiling machine SWEDA DWS-301-1000-1-P is structurally different from the FIBC packing machine SWEDA DWS-301-1000-1 by the presence of additional units: a weighing belt conveyor (instead of a weighing platform), a storage belt conveyor and an overhead feed hopper.
