Muscular and skeletal problems are the most common reasons for people being unable to work, particularly if they have a job that frequently involves physically strenuous activity like pushing and pulling loads. The electric drive systems of the Blickle ErgoMove® series reduce these health risks considerably. The effort required for pulling and pushing is reduced by up to 100 %. The physical strain on the operator is decreased during internal material transport due to the considerably lower amount of effort required compared with manual operation. Equipment and transport units of any kind can be quickly and easily upgraded with a “plug & play” electric drive, steering and braking assistance. The modular sets include two fixed castors with electric drive, cockpit solutions with integrated controls and battery unit as well as all relevant safety features.

n the micro and micro-drive sector, IAI offers small mini slider types that easily replace pneumatic cylinders due to their identical design and simple control mode. They are suitable for mounting fixtures, workpiece positioning, table motion and many other applications. In the RCP3 series, the smallest models are available as a slider types with sliding spindle. The latest developments are the space-saving mini slider types of the RCA2 series with 24 V servo motor.

Electric motors for high speed application (approx. 6.000 up to approx. 30.000min1) need to be designed with special concern for bearings, greasing and ventilation.

Special sealers ME 455/605 VAD with air suction system (max 80%) suitable for volume reduction and better preservation of products. The machine is equipped with a double sealing bar with a sealing width of 5 mm, an electric pedal drive and pneumatic cylinders, mobile nozzles for air intake, an adjustable timer for suction, sealing and cooling. Accurate forming with fast tool change. Our type REB axial t form forming machines, with their compression power of up to 1,300 kN are particularly wellsuited to effortlessly master complex geometries. With up to 6 forming steps in combination with an additional clamping unit they will satisfy almost all requirements. The operation is simple and intuitive with a touch panel. The sequence control makes each separate movement of the respective forming step userfriendly and fully programmable individually. We offer the option to equip our systems with electric or hydraulicnumerical drives. These forming processes can be completed stepwise in transfer system to achieve very short cycle times. Simultaneous axis movements ensure fast production processes and an efficient and highly dynamic production.

The machines can produce internal and external profiles and can also roll in synchronicity thanks to a special tool head (inside/outside).

This high precision torque sensor is designed for both static and dynamic measurements on non-rotating applications. It is particularly suitable for torque measurements on, for instance, extremely small electrical actuating drives and micro-mechanical actuator elements, or for measuring reaction torques e.g. on micro-motors. The high accuracy of measurement also makes this sensor ideal for use as a reference in many fields of industrial manufacture as well as laboratory research and development projects. Not containing any rotating parts, it requires no maintenance if properly used. The strain-gage based sensor’s modular design allows precise configuration for the desired application. With the integrated amplifier option, the sensor directly supplies a voltage signal of 0 ... ±10 V that is proportional to the torque. The sensor can be configured via the micro-USB interface, providing access to, for example, a filter frequency setting, averaging, and a tare function.

A drive motor can also act as a generator. If the drive system is built so as to allow reverse power to flow then this power can be fed into a resistor, thus taking energy out of the system and causing whatever is driving the motor to slow down. Following to this the braking resistor converts the stop energy into heat. Electrical drive systems are being used more and more on ships, oil rigs, crane barges and offshore vessels of all types. An important benefit from using an electric drive is that reliable systems of regenerative and dynamic braking resistors are available to complement or replace traditional mechanical braking systems. The advantages of electric braking include control, reliability, mechanical simplicity, weight saving and in some cases the opportunity to make use of the regenerated braking energy. Settling and floating layers are avoided by horizontal and vertical mixing. Before plant construction, coordination takes place with the future plant operator to determine the optimum stirring technology based on the respective substrates. Operational safety is ensured by the closed reaction chamber, the external drive for the agitator and the externally mounted electric drives. The extremely space-saving design of our screen changer allows a lot of creative freedom, both with new machines and in the case of retrofitting, since the structure of the extruder platform only needs to be adjusted a little. The screen changer is installed instead of a connection piece and can be equipped with a hydraulic or electric drive. The simplest way, however, is to use a cordless screwdriver, which makes changing bits a quick and easy endeavor. Screen changers are available for all common throughputs.

With the new generation of our combination machines, we have continued to develop the new diversity for forming pipes. Geometries that effectively replace high-cost and expensive turned parts can be formed directly at the pipe end in the endforming machine – for a final component of a single workpiece that is ready for use without elaborate soldering or welding. Implementation of the combination can be specified by you or based directly on the forming geometry. This is usually done using up to 6 axial forming stages and at least one rotary unit. Trimming, as well as axial and rotary forming, may require 2 rotary forming stations. Simple trimming or deburring after forming at the pipe end are no demanding challenges. Therefore, all our axial forming machines and combination machines are equipped with one or several single-drive axes. They have a servo-electrical drive and can be used in each of the holders for the forming stages, making the system is very flexible and compact.

For special applications, individual high-pressure systems are required, which KAMAT can provide from the initial project idea to the turnkey installation, with 100% of the production taking place in-house. This also applies to electric high-pressure pumping units. Depending on the application, our customers can choose between different drives, power transmission components, PLC controls, measuring systems, data transmission, remote controls, pneumatic and electric valve controls, chassis and sound insulation equipment. Even the electrical units supplied on the base frame are fully operational and can be used directly by the customer. Electric units have the advantage of emission-free operation at extremely low noise levels. ATEX certified high pressure electric units can also be used in ATEX hazardous areas.
