An innovative technological process carried out on specialized machines allowed for the extension of the current offer with products exceeding the requirements of the applicable European standards. The innovative production of the bars allows cost reduction of further processing, thanks to the increased geometric accuracy and ready-to-use surface. Modern production and control methods allow achieving significantly higher product characteristics: Surface quality – up to class 4 Cross-sectional dimension of a bar within the assumed tolerance – along its entire length Roundness deviation – max level 0.0261 (IT / 3) Precise length – tolerance up to 5 mm Straightness of bars – up to 0.3 mm / m No surface decarburization

Drawing is a process of cold metal forming, in which the processed material moves through a suitably shaped hole that is a special tool called a drawing die. The aim of drawing is obtaining products in the form of bars or wire with very precise cross-sectional dimen - sions, smooth, bright surface and specific mechanical properties. As a result of the drawing process material is strengthened which means increase in strength proper - ties and decrease in plastic properties.

On request, we can supply aluminium alloys in the form of rod or bar. These are available in most of the commercially available aluminium alloys. The tolerances of extruded aluminium rods and bars can also be further improved by subsequent drawing. In recent years, ALUnna has specialised in the production of rod and bar meeting the highest quality standards. The spindle extension SamSpindle, has been specially designed for the extension of lathe spindles. Together with the bar feeder Multi 3000 it forms a safe, clean and efficient solution. The SamSpindle operates oil and air free. There is no mechanical connection to the lathe. Only a minimum of moving parts and masses. These are: the rotating bar, the guide rings and the inner cage of the ball bearings. The guide rings mounted in the roller bearings keep the bars in the centre of the SamSpindle cartridge. Thanks to this technique, round or test bars can be rotated at high speed, ensuring remarkably smooth running. You can turn drawn, round or profile bars, with correct straightness, at the maximum spindle speed of the lathe. This allows us to guarantee workpieces with high precision. The SamSpindle spindle extension offers maximum safety. It does not allow access to parts in motion. The moving parts are all enclosed in the SamSpindle cartridge, which is closed by a safety nut.

Stainless steel hexagonal, available in different grades, cold-drawn. Technical delivery conditions according to DIN EN 10088-3: 2014. Execution as per DIN EN 10278:1999, tolerance h11. The produced bars are delivered with mill test certificates according to DIN EN 10204/3.1. Available in random sizes of 8 - 100mm and lengths of 3000-3200 mm. *The regular minimum order quantity is 500 kg. The finished bars are packed in bundles of approx.500 kg. Each bundle carries two labels, providing information about dimensions, grade, heat number, weight, manufacturer's code and works inspector. Chamfering based on customer's requirements.
