Chemical appearance BLK – 301 has a type of dark brown or amber colour and comes in a liquid form with an oily consistency. It is dissolvable in water and has a density of 1.080 – 1.120 g/m3 and a pH level of 10 – 13. Chemical application and strength BLK – 301 is another great collector in the flotation process of silver, copper, zinc, gold, and molybdenum sulfide. Very soluble in water. It has weak power in the collection of pyrites but is has an excellent selectivity to silver, copper, and gold ores. Only small dosage is used in the flotation process but the BK – 301 still exhibits excellent collection power and great selectivity. It has some frothing characteristics It should be placed in an environment away from exposure to water and extreme heat from fire and sunlight. It should always be placed upright and never upside down

Mitadaf is an innovative dissolved air flotation system. Its exceptional solid/liquid separation and/or sludge thickening efficiency is the result of the combined systemof uniform hydrodynamics and filtration with a bed of micro air-bubbles: an equipment of new concept developed by MITA. The heart of the mitadaf system is the multifunctional central column, by means of which the raw sewage is introduced into the tank, the clarified effluent water is recovered and the sludge exits. The raw influent water, suitably saturated with air, is introduced into the flotation tank via a series of holes located in the lower part of the central column. The entering mix, propelled by the micro-bubbles of air, immediately reaches the surface, homogeneously distributed across the whole flotation area (uniform hydrodynamic system).

Separation of dissolved gases with membrane degasification Gaseous components can be removed by conventional technologies, like e.g. percolators columns (for example CO2-percolators). Alternatively, gaseous components in water can be removed with very high retention rates by membrane degasification, which is working with hydrophobic membranes and a partial pressure drop. The advantages of the membrane degasification are low operation costs as well a s compact design.
