The TERRACAP TCB040 grounding system is used to ground tanker trucks. The device has specifically been designed to be used asset tracking applications where extended battery life is essential. P55 provides high accuracy position using the sensitive GPS receiver. In indoor conditions where GPS signal is weak P55 uses GSM network to determine device location using triangulation technique. The device can be used in real time mode or sleep-wake up modes using simple @SET commands. In sleep-wake up mode P55 may send periodic location messages from 1 minute to 24 hours. This way the device may operate up to 12 months with single charge. P55 is an essential device to recover stolen vehicles since its battery may last for months without recharging and it is not possible to detect P55 using any signal detection device.
