The extensive and many-sided drum clamp programme of KAUP encloses attachments which clamp, tip and turn single drums. Other attachments can carry up to four drums pre and side by side. The wide port folio is complemented by special solutions for the transport of special drums, by slip-on drum arms and drum tipping arms for already existing fork clamps.

The storage area of the drum holder can be adjusted for height and provides a place for setting down the filling container directly under the discharge of drum pumps. This prevents the danger of the liquid splashing while being poured from a high height – for example if the filling container is standing on the floor. The user also has both hands free while dispensing and is able to remove larger quantities conveniently. A scale with container can also be placed on the storage area so the liquid that is being dispensed can be measured accurately. The holder can be used for Bürkle pumps with discharge tube or discharge hose. Discharge hoses can easily be inserted into the foldaway fastening. Can be used for plastic or stainless steel drums.

The filling support makes it easy to dispense liquids and correctly dose from Bürkle's 10-litre compact jerrycan. The compact jerrycan sits on the inlets in the holder and is fixed in place with a tightener. That makes it impossible for the container to slip out. The jerrycan can be reliably guided with the swivelling holder and the liquid medium can be dispensed and transferred without expending any great effort. The jerrycan can be stored on the dispensing stand or it can be exchanged quickly and easily with a tightener. The filling support can be used wherever the compact jerrycan is used, for example in laboratories, in industry or in food applications.

We specialise in supplying used Port wine barrels and other used fortified wine barrels (including sherry, Madeira and Muscatel). We receive barrels from port wine producers in varying qualities and all and refurbished and fully inspected and pressure tested before they leave our facility. Refurbishment involves replacing any broken staves with replacements taken from the same batch, sanding and cleaning the interior and replacing hoops where appropriate so that the barrels are 100% ready to be reused with absolute confidence. Whilst we generally have some limited stock of used Port wine barrels (and other fortified wine barrels) from across our range, for larger orders of 50 barrels of more we generally require several weeks lead time in order to ensure that the barrels can be sourced and refurbished. We make wooden barrels sized 5 to 500 litres in French, American and Portuguese oak in size in Chestnut and Acacia with a paraffin finish. The French and American oak barrels are made in the traditional way of larger barrels, but the Chestnut and Acacia options require a food-safe paraffin coating to ensure there is no possibility of leakage. Both options are made with galvanized hoops, with a toasted interior and are fully pressure tested. Most traditional oak barrel manufacturers no longer produce wooden barrels in the small sizes that we specialize in, because of the extra work it gives; our production facilities are set up to make sure that we can produce these smaller barrels efficiently however, including the most up-to-date machinery to aid our highly skilled coopers to perform some of their craft that originally had to be done 100% manually. We also supply many of our standard barrel sizes in used oak, either from wine or fortified wine. ** Ask for a quote **

Our decorative barrels are generally produced in Portuguese Oak, Chestnut or Acacia and are note made to the same high specification as our standard barrels destined for wine or spirits production. This makes them ideal for using for vases, furniture or water butts, giving them the same visual appeal of standard barrels but at a far lower cost. Although we have a standard range of decorative barrels available, we are able to produce different models to order for our clients – please inquire about your specific requirements.
