Because of the design, the lifting slings are wide, the load is distributed over a relatively large area. But sometimes secutex protective sleeves are also required for wire ropes. The wire ropes have an almost round diameter, the surface area to the load is rather small and the stress per area is high. In general, the use of wire rope sleeves can only be recommended for the lifting of large, round loads, i.e. without sharp or angular edges. There are slotted and also unslotted secutex wire rope protective sleeves available for one or two strands. The slotted variants can easily be assembled afterwards, the closed types, on the other hand, have to be installed during the manufacture of the wire ropes. Wire transducers series WDS are composed by the draw-wire mechanics coupled to Elap multiturn absolute high-resolution encoder MEM-BUS or MEM. They can provide different communication protocols – EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET, Profibus, CANopen or SSI output signal. The encoder grants high resolutions values (28 or 29 bit) and strokes ranging from 3000 to 15000 mm. The housing is out of aluminium, whilst the wire consists of coated poliamide stainless steel.

The central product of WDM Deutenberg are spot-welded wire meshes according to individual specifications. There are four different wire materials used to produce our wire meshes and wire mesh elements: bare wire, galvanized wire, aluminium galvanized wire and stainless steel wire. Our spot-welded wire meshes have different sizes from 300 x 250 mm to 8,000 x 2,400 mm depending on mesh width and wire diameters. Mesh widths between 20 mm x 20 mm minimum and 150 mm x 150 mm maximum and diameters from 2.0 mm to 18.0 mm are possible. The scope of application of our spot-welded wire meshes is very diverse.
