Round copper wire made from Cu-ETP1, Cu-OF1 and LEONI Histral® alloys, in bare, tin-plated, nickel-plated and silver-plated, soft annealed. Single wire diameter ranging from Ø 0.05 mm to Ø 0.254 mm. Number of wires used for strands: between 2 and 16 (subject to single-wire diameter). Single wire or multi wire on special bobbins fit for use in braiding machines. The braids manufactured by these machines are used in cables and conductors geared towards electromagnetic shielding or protection against damage as well as serving as a reinforcement.

Compact braided square and rectangular copper flexibles made from Cu-ETP1, Cu-OF1 and LEONI Histral® alloys (upon request) in bare, tin-plated or silver-plated. Single-wire diameter ranging from Ø 0.05 mm to Ø 0.20 mm. Cross-section ranging from 0.47 mm² to 50 mm² (further dimensions upon request). Square copper braids require less space in comparison to round copper braids with the same cross-section. There is a precise positioning owing to square or rectangular shape, which allows for failure-free and fully automated downstream manufacture. Squre or rectangular copper braids are characterised by very good Flex life, being absolute free from twist, a compact cutting surface, a very high degree of dimensional accuracy and a very long lifetime. Compact braided square and rectangular copper flexibles are particularly suitable for applications in carbon brushes industry, connection technology, switches and aviation industry.

Manufacturing piping is one of our specialities. Piping is a versatile aid when sewing – e.g., it can be used along edges, hems, slits, or in seams, for defining dividing seams or transitions dimensionally or by adding colour. Our piping is manufactured using braiding techniques and consists of a tape-like braid/sew-on edge, which has a cord/welt that is more or less thick on one side. This cord defines the edge or the seam. In the case of braided piping, the braid is flexible which makes it ideal for being laid around curves and edges.

Our product range also includes cords (laces, ropes) in a wide variety of materials, types, and thicknesses. We manufacture plain or multicolour braided, knitted, twisted, and elastic cords. We carry a large selection of different designs and samples, such as the climbing or paracord look. We are also happy to accommodate your individual wishes – whatever they may be. Cords can have a round or oval cross-section (tubular cord), but can also be entirely flat (tubular braid). Cords can be used for lacing, binding, regulating widths, or adding other fashionable or sporty touches. For example, they can be found on hats (hat cord), as a drawstring in hoods, a jackets and trousers regulator, as a belt, as shoe laces, or as chains. Thinner variations are also commonly used as hanging loops, hang tags, packaging, or embroidery. As an insertion cord (low- shrinkage welt insert), it is used for piping with fabric or as corded welting.
