Magnetic system with stainless steel body and strong neodymium magnet core. This series have a deeper magnetic force than the classic flat pot systems. Two milled surfaces on the perimeter allow to fix the system with a tool. The holding surface is over molded with a hard type of rubber (TPE) and protects the magnet from strikes. At the same time the rubber effects a noise absorption.

Under no circumstances may Neodym magnets be pressed directly into iron, loss of attractive force due to magnetic short circuits occurs. Diameter “D” ground to an h6 tolerance. These magnets can be shortened by the dimensions “H1” and “H2”. The magnets can be mounted by pressfit, screwingin or gluing.

The magnet assembly can be clipped into the groove. It is freely movable or can be fixed by a threaded pin. The magnetic core is protected by a plastic cover and has a large magnet area in the groove. The magnetic system is lying nearly plan and has a closed, smooth adhesive surface which avoids scratches on the surface and the concentration of metal shavings. Inductive displacement sensors of this series measure linear displacements and indirectly all mechanical values convertible into displacements by additional equipment (i.e. tension and compression forces, extension, torque, vibration). The sensor body equipped with a connector has an outer diameter of only 8 mm and therefore is especially well suitable for the integration in dimensionally restricted structures. Typical application fields are displacement and extension measurements on: —Machines —Servo systems —Motor vehicles —Test benches —Production plants The cylindrical case made of stainless steel, houses a differential transformer (LVDT). It consists of a primary and two secondary coils with axially moveable core. A displacement of this core changes the magnetic induction of the coils. The INLINE carrier frequency amplifier converts the displacement into a direct proportional electrical DC voltage.

FX-R is the series for round material handling. The deep shallow-angled prism ensures safe positioning on the load and guides the magnetic field deep into the material. The magnet system can be switched well in the entire diameter bandwidth and does not recoil, shearing of the load due to twisting is prevented by the overlapping prism. Flat material, even with low material thickness, is no problem for the FX-R. With hot workpieces, the deep prism protects the magnet core from overheating. The lifting magnet for shafts and bars.
