Form A locating pins are used to position workpieces and fixture parts in reamed holes. The flattened Form C can be used to bridge tolerances in hole spacing or to secure the part to be positioned in one direction only. The Form A locating pins can also be used as limit stops or fixture feet. Advantages: Cerazur is extremely impact and bend resistant. The basis of this material is zirconium oxide. Hardened and ground (HRC 60 ±2). Note: The locating pins are designed to make the joining process easier. Used in combination with hardened locating bushes 02026, they enable exact, low-wear, and fast changes of the workpiece. Versions D1 = 5 and D1 = 6 do not have an internal thread. Ball end locating pins are specially designed to ease the locating process. The tendency to jam, caused by the locating hole not being at right angles to the pin or by the pushing force not being parallel to the pin axis, is minimized by the ball-end form (see illustration).

Hardened and ground (HRC 56 +2). Note: The locating pins can be easily removed with an extractor.

When the positioning cone and bush are mated, the balls are pressed together within the rubbers elastic range and thus locate the two parts in which they have been fitted, with maximum accuracy. To ensure that the rubber in which the balls are embedded is deformed within the elastic range, one must merely ensure that the depth of the hole into which the positioning bush is later pressed is precisely observed. The positioning cone is supplied ready to fit into the positioning bush and must simply be fitted into the counterpart component. Henceforth, a precise zero point positioning system is in place.

Round baseplates with T-slots are used for constructing modular fixtures. These baseplates are positioned and mounted directly on machine tables. The precise longitudinal and transverse slot spacing ensures very high repeat clamping accuracy. The aligning holes are used to align the baseplate on the machine table. TYP A 042 Round pin inserter Description The Streckfuss inserting device Type A 042 offers the economical solution, for the mechanised insertion of round pins, solder posts and or - lugs into p. c. boards. With this device, nearly all customer forms of round pins, solder posts / - lugs can be processed. The loose components are filled into the sorting pot of the vibration conveyor. Trough barriers in the helical of the conveyor, the components are ordered. After positioning, the components are handed to the loading slider, which supplies the components to the inserting tool. Working with this device is save and easy: For assembling, hold the p. c. board with both hands on the edges, and place it under the inserting tool. The p. c. board now lies at the bottom of the pressure stamp, while the tooling pin hole is placed directly under the solder post / - lug shaft looming out of the inserting tool.
