Lipp offers liquid manure containers for farms of any size that not only make promises to provide safe and cost efficient storage but also keep those promises. Stainless steel may be the material of choice for constructing liquid manure containers but steel is expensive – and that is why Lipp uses Verinox, the material that it developed in house. A combination of galvanised steel sheet (for the outside of the container) and stainless steel sheet (for the inside of the container), Verinox offers all the benefits of a high quality material while enabling significant cost savings to be made at the same time. Sampling dipper made of stainless steel V2A (1.4301) with extended, completely closed handle. The sample beaker has no openings or indentations to an immersion depth of approx. 500 mm. The closed design of the rod makes the scoop ideal for sampling water from wells, sludge, wastewater or liquid manure. The beaker is steam-sterilisable and completely flame-resistant, which makes it easy to sterilise at the point of use.

The LIPP Double Seam System enables containers to be constructed on site within a short space of time with a diameter that is steplessly variable between 3 and more than 50 metres. Damaged concrete containers can also be easily refurbished (see Container Refurbishing). If a liquid manure container needs to be covered, Lipp offers a wide range of container roof and cover designs to choose from. The range includes simple foil roofs, single and double skin roofs and double diaphragm roofs as well as the high quality LIPP stainless steel diaphragm cover.

The closed design of the shaft makes the scoop cup particularly suitable for sampling well water, sludge, waste water, liquid manure or similar. The sampler is particularly suitable for taking samples from basins, tanks, shafts, open bodies of water, etc. With the length-adjustable telescopic aluminium rods, sampling depths of up to 6 m can be achieved. The TeleSchöpfer telescopic rod with tools is a versatile sampling system. The interchangeable tools (angle cup, pendulum cup, bottle holder, stainless steel cup and landing net) are suitable for a wide range of applications. The tools are firmly connected to the telescopic rod by a practical snap connection.

SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR THE STORAGE OF SLURRY Following the further development of the Lipp dual seam system and the container material it was possible not only to build silos for bulk materials, but also silos for the storage of liquids, such as liquid manure. Since slurry is also rather more aggressive and can attack concrete or similar vessels, especially over the years, Lipp always offers its system solutions for the storage of slurry in principle in V2A stainless steel (1.4301), when it is clear that the tank will remain open. Possible changes are also taken into account with the customer during the planning process and in case of a future modification of the slurry tank consideration is given to an alternative material (V4A) or the possibility of a subsequent roof construction. Thus, the container retains its flexibility and can later be converted into a fermenter, secondary fermenter or other container.
