Even hardened material can be engraved with laser engraving. In doing so, the engraving is applied up to 1 mm into the hardened material, e.g. hardened or coated tool use. This is an alternative to areas that are difficult to access.

By far the most glass we know is so-called float glass. It’s transparent, perfectly flat and available in various thicknesses, hardness’ and finishes. Colored glass is also available, this is obtained by the addition of metals. Figure glass gets a machined surface by allowing it to pass through specific rolls after the oven. After cooling the pattern remains visible. With wire glass, the metal grid is pressed into the hot glass by a roller. Opaline glass is clear glass with a thin layer of milk glass on it. Anti-reflective glass undergoes treatment during the casting process, which negates the reflective effect of the glass. Laser machine The best machine to process glass or mirrors is our BRM CO2-laser. Each type of material reacts differently to the impact of the laser beam, so there are hardly any regular guidelines for laser cutting or engraving with a laser machine, but the settings

With the new ALO manual welding laser, you can either work manually or with an axis of rotation for circular welding. The working chamber is easily accessible via leather curtains, but the welding itself still takes place in the shielded laser safety area. The spacious working chamber can be loaded quickly through various openings, without opening doors: a large opening at the front ensures easy access to the welding chamber. The slots on the side enable the operator to position longer components in the machining area and to weld them in a laser-safe manner. Another passage on the bottom of the working chamber allows loading from below. The laser safe leather curtain offers certified laser protection so that the laser device can be placed in any work environment. The armrest is extremely comfortable - ensuring relaxed work. A lot of attention was also paid to good ergonomics. A high-quality extraction system with filter is integrated as standard.

Seamless quality control is becoming an ever important factor in competition. Micrographs are indispensable in the release of new crimp terminals and tools. The MicroLab 35 micrograph laboratory is a central part of modern quality engineering. MicroLab 35 is designed for the quick creation of micrographs of terminals up to a diameter of 3 mm. The processing time is short thanks to the fully automatic transport system and the reliable technology. The parallel processes allow one micrograph per minute to be created on a continuous basis. The sample is clamped in place quickly with laser support, so the inspection position is determined precisely. There is no re-clamping of samples – the MicroLab 35 cuts and polishes the samples automatically. As soon as the samples arrive at the evaluation unit, they undergo electrolytic cleaning – the micrograph is taken and evaluated.

A 3D scanning is like a digital 3D photography of the real world – but where each pixel in a digital photo only contains information about colour, each pixel in our “3D images” further contains information about it's position in XYZ coordinates in space. We can scan everything – from cars, airplanes, ships, factories to processing plants, bridges, tunnels, buildings you name it. We have several different scanners – among others a FARO FOCUS X330 that can scan from 0,6 mm up to 330 meters with a length-precision of +/- 2 mm! A laser scanning produces a so-called point cloud, which can be imported in all common CAD programs: #AutoCAD #Inventor #Revit #Navisworks
