Before the taping machine, a PACK POINT 08 box former was positioned, which makes it faster and easier to form and fill the boxes. Once the boxes have been filled, it is possible to advance them towards the taping line by pressing the appropriate button on the former.

AUTOMATIC CASE ERECTORS Semi-automatic carton erector for closing the bottom flaps of the box Max. sixe mm. 520x520x700 or mm 670x670x800. The Pack Point is a case erector that, assisted by an operator, automatically folds the four bottom flaps of an American box. In few seconds the carton is ready for the operator to fill: while holding the case, Pack Point allows the operator to use both hands for placing the product into the carton. When the carton is filled, the operator presses a button and the PP automatically transfers the carton into a case sealer for top and bottom sealing. The Pack Point can be linked to a Gem 520/670 (bottom taper) so that boxes can be easily sent to filling lines by motorized conveyors. The machine is equipped with 4 wheels with brakes.

GENERAL OPERATION The machine is built-up of a rotating plate and a knot device that allow to create the requested wire ties. When the cycle is running, the pinch roll insert the wire in the machine and the rotating plate starts to rotate creating the wire ties. The crossed ends of the wire are held together and twisted by rotation of the gripper. AUTOMATIC CYCLE When the operator press the “start” button, the automatic cycle command is sent to the machine. This signal allow to insert the wire into the rotating plate following the sequence below: - Realignment and lifting of the twister. - Realignment of the wire step cylinder. - Closing of the pinch roll. - Moving forward of the puller. - Insertion of the wire by means of forward rotation of the pinch roll. When the twister is in high position, the puller is moved forward, in order to pull out the wire ties. With a time delay, the machine starts a new tying cycle (according to the number of the ties set in the operator’s panel).

The ROCK 20 model is a semi-automatic portioning machine for cutting hard and semi-hard cheese. Allows you to cut cheese into custom sized slices. Working times: about 15 / h wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano type cheese. Being a semi-automatic model, the machine requires a minimum commitment on the part of the personnel: it is sufficient to press two buttons to operate the blade and start the cutting action. The Rock 20 model allows you to customize both the size of the wedges (eg 700 g, 1-2-4 kg ...), and the type of cut to be made with the following accessories on request: Smooth blade: suitable for cutting hard and semi-hard cheeses; Heart extractor cylinder: tool that allows you to extract the central part of the shape (called the “heart” and sold separately), obtaining particularly small portions (eg 200-300-400 g…). The extraction of the "heart" prevents the creation of slices with too thin tips, which risk breaking or crumbling.
