PipeStrand® S2300 is made for fabricators that want to reduce material cost, while increasing the performance of their filament wound products. Designed to increase production efficiency, while providing excellent hydrothermal stability under pressurized conditions. OUTSTANDING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES Excellent properties in both amine and anhydride curing systems; improved axial tensile strength, interlaminate shear strength and burst stress for high performance filament wound epoxy applications. REDUCE COST Designed for use in filament winding, in both epoxy amine and anhydride curing systems — giving flexibility with one glass input and higher glass loading. GREAT STRAND WETOUT Excellent processing range, fast wetting and smooth pipe surface. LONG SERVICE LIFE Excellent hydrothermo stability and strength retention under pressurized conditions, leading to long service life for installed pipe.

Windstrand® 2000 features a powerful combination of optimized design and reliability for longer, lighter blades. Windstrand® 2000 delivers high weaving efficiencies. The product allows blades to operate in extreme environments at reduced operating costs. We’re happy to offer Windstrand® 2000 in all regions. Packaging (Standard Reference) Rovings are available in a singleend internalpull package. Each pallet weighs approximately 1 ton. Pallets are stretch wrapped for load stability. All doffs are wrapped with TackPak™ for protection and to aid package runout and transfer. Full doffs are approximately 2021 kg (45 lb.) and they can be packaged in bulk or CreelPak™ format. Standard Package Cylindrical bobbin without tube, Outside Diameter (OD) ±270mm, height 260300mm. Partial bobbins have smaller diameter. Max bobbin weight approximately 21kg. 600 Tex and greater. The welding division is M.E.G.A.'s new investment designed to meet the needs of a growing market. We manufacture spools and other special assemblies to meet customer requirements with certified welds guaranteed by our quality system. Cladding can be carried out on all machined products (inside/outside forgings, ring joint seats of flanges etc.).

The SPECIAL PRODUCTS section includes all FITTINGS, NOZZLES and SPECIAL FLANGES made to specific customer requirements in the following materials carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and superduplex stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper alloys, titanium and other metals. HEAVY WALL FITTINGS are manufactured from customer specifications, or from accurate design according to the requirements of international codes, including ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME B&PV Code Section I, Section III, Section VIII Division 1 and Division 2, PED, RCCM, EN 13480, EN 10253 or others, and is supported by finite element analysis or calculation reports. In this product category, we have special tees (e.g. two, three or more branch outlets), special wyes (two, three or more ways, with piggability requirements), special caps, special flanges (e.g. swivel flanges, anchor flanges) and flanged fittings, and many other types of fittings designed and developed according to specific requirements.

Among the branch outlet fittings, the socalled MEGALETS stand out, selfreinforcing branch outlets with a traditional 90° conformation to the main pipeline. Depending on the different configurations, they are divided into LATROMEGALET that can be installed to obtain a branch outlet with an angle other than 90°. ELBOWMEGALET that can be mounted on a curve. INSERT MEGALET that can be welded directly inside the main pipe. All these types can be supplied with butt weld (BW), socketweld, threaded and also flanged ends.

STANDARD FITTINGS and UNIONS are high quality products that can be supplied both threaded (according to ASME B1.20.1) and socketweld, as well as SWAGE NIPPLES that are available in all standardised variants threaded, BW, plainend, eccentric. This family of standard products is available in carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and superduplex stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper alloys, titanium and others. The material can be certified NSF 61, NACE, PED, and Norsok.
