Punto Curvatura adopts a technological solution to bend those profiles that have already been through the powder coating treatment, particularly wooden-paint sublimates.

The process of three-dimensional curving of aluminium, stainless steel, brass or iron profiles is carried out in two steps: torsion and bending. This is a very complex process, which only a high-skilled staff, with a technological equipment, can carry out.

The demand of aluminium profiles to furnish the HoReCa industry as well as Department Stores with particular sizes and shapes has considerably increased over the last years. The calendering of profiles used in the construction or in the realization of the most modern refrigerated showcases for cafés, ice-cream parlours or restaurants requires special attention for the aesthetics of the profile.

For the installation on roofs and warehouses, Punto Curvatura realizes the curvature of the substructures of aluminium profiles used for photovoltaic systems.

Punto Curvatura is capable, with special cylinders installed on the bending machines, to comply with the most complex curvature requirements for the realization of tensile structures used to cover circuses, military hangars, museums, exhibition stands, gazebos, stages and agricultural structures.

Together with the curving of single or double sunshade systems, Punto Curvatura is capable to twist them to meet the different architectural requirements.

The curve of the aluminum profile used for mobile walls is made with a sophisticated soft curving of the profile, which makes the curve with straight ends to the two sides of the extrusion. The service is performed by means of laser pointing installed on the bending machines.

The bending of aluminum profiles used in curtain wall systems is carried out with a patented system by filling with a special alloy. During this process, the cross section is not only calendered with millimetric precision, but it also meets all the perpendicular tolerances, avoiding any kind of deformity deflection or "twisted effect", thus maintaining the perfect geometry required.

The twisting or torsion of the extruded aluminium, stainless steel, brass or iron profiles is carried out via a clockwise (or counter clockwise) solicitation of the cross section against its axis. In order to avoid that this twisting jeopardizes the stiffening rib, we use a filling system to help the stretching and the compression of the fibres. We are able to twist up to 9 mt profiles!

Handling systems often require high-precision curves to follow a well-defined handling pattern. Punto Curvatura can bend all major monorail or two-rail transport lines in packaging equipment, sorting systems, airport baggage conveyor belts, production lines, bottling plants, food handling plants, treadmills and automated transportation.

GENERAL OPERATION The machine is built-up of a rotating plate and a knot device that allow to create the requested wire ties. When the cycle is running, the pinch roll insert the wire in the machine and the rotating plate starts to rotate creating the wire ties. The crossed ends of the wire are held together and twisted by rotation of the gripper. AUTOMATIC CYCLE When the operator press the “start” button, the automatic cycle command is sent to the machine. This signal allow to insert the wire into the rotating plate following the sequence below: - Realignment and lifting of the twister. - Realignment of the wire step cylinder. - Closing of the pinch roll. - Moving forward of the puller. - Insertion of the wire by means of forward rotation of the pinch roll. When the twister is in high position, the puller is moved forward, in order to pull out the wire ties. With a time delay, the machine starts a new tying cycle (according to the number of the ties set in the operator’s panel).

Bending film for press brake bending to protect from scratches, marks, imrints and other surface defects during bending polished materials, prepainted, grinded surfaces etc. together with die protection. Our bending film is premium quality, "Made in Germany". Could be used for bending of steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys and any non ferrous metals and highly important for the usage in the production of decorative and prepared surface goods. The delivery program: * 0,4 x 100 mm width (length of roll 54 m) * 0,5 x 100 mm width (length of roll 45 m) * 0,8 x 100 mm width (length of roll 18 m) Width 150-200 mm ; 1,0 and 2,0 mm thickness film is available under request. The film could be used as it is with any tooling or press brake with manual positioning or usage of special holders to fix and to rotate after consume.

We offer special adjustable bending dies for various press brakes with medium and high tonnage for bending of big thickness sheet metal. These dies are great solution for the possibility to replace several set of standard dies and adjust die opening directly on the machine. Models available: V25-125; V65-180; V120-300; V150-400. In addition there are options of semi-automatic and automatic adjustment system. We are able to study the project for the possibility to offer together with adjustable dies all necessary punches as complete solution.
