M.E.G.A.’s forging and heattreatment division is capable of forging fittings (in a closed die) up to 4” 16 kg. The heat treatment furnaces and tanks are all certified to Norsok M650 and ASTM A991 standards and can treat any product that M.E.G.A. produces (large and small forgings, pipes and any other type of part).

M.E.G.A.'s new investment to meet the demands of a growing market concerns the welding department, which is capable of cladding all parts produced (e.g. internal/external of forgings, flange surfaces and fittings, etc.).

M.E.G.A. S.p.A. has always stood out for its multitechnological capabilities and highperformance manufacturing, efficiently and flexibly carrying out the entire production cycle of each branch fitting, starting from forging through to the final testing phase and any inherent certification. Among the branch outlet fittings, the socalled MEGALETS stand out, selfreinforcing branch outlets with a traditional 90° conformation to the main pipeline. Depending on the different configurations, they are divided into LATROMEGALET that can be installed to obtain a branch outlet with an angle other than 90°. ELBOWMEGALET that can be mounted on a curve. INSERT MEGALET that can be welded directly inside the main pipe. All these types can be supplied with butt weld (BW), socketweld, threaded and also flanged ends.

STANDARD FITTINGS and UNIONS are high quality products that can be supplied both threaded (according to ASME B1.20.1) and socketweld, as well as SWAGE NIPPLES that are available in all standardised variants threaded, BW, plainend, eccentric. This family of standard products is available in carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and superduplex stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper alloys, titanium and others. The material can be certified NSF 61, NACE, PED, and Norsok.

The press fittings present herein are used for domestic water supply adduction systems and for heating systems. They are applied to the tube along with the steel flanges.
