The selection of discs on which to conduct the backwash (in sequence) is carried out by using double-acting valves with pneumatic control. The largest standard model in this series has a filtering surface of 160 m2 that can process a load equal to a community of approximately 50.000 PE. A singular feature of this series is the low energy consumption, even more noticeable with the increasing plant potential. - Gravity filtration with limited head loss. - Continuous filtration without standby units for the backwash phases. - Cloth filter in polstoff free fibre provided with high mechanical strength.
