Tecno Impianti designs and manufacture a series of horizontal wire drawing bullblocks Mod. MO/P, for the drawing of cold heading wire. These wire drawing bullblocks are utilized for big productions of drawn wire and are meant for wire drawing companies which produce cold heading wire or for big manufacturers of fasteners who execute the wire drawing off-line and take the drawn wire to the cold heading machines, in the form of wire coiled on wire carriers or as bound coils. The horizontal wire drawing bullblocks Mod. MO/P are manufactured by us in 4 different models, for covering a range of wire diameters between 6,0 and 30,0 mm. The drawn wire is taken-up on a rotating platform positioned into a hole in front of the capstan. It is taken-out with wire carriers or through a coil extractor.

The pre-feeding units Model INT are utilized for bringing medium-big diameter wire to the nextmachine, when the uncoiler is of the vertical axis type. These units can work with in-line wire drawing machines, cold heading machines, wire drawingbull-blocks.They are equipped with two feed rolls and a series of straightening rolls.At the exit of the machine can be installed a cut-off unit.

The in-line wire drawing machine mod. SKP is a horizontal-axis monobloc which is positioned between the uncoiler and the cold heading machine. Its function is to size the wire to the exact wire diameter needed for the cold heading application. The in-line wire drawing machine works in automatic with the cold heading machine. The compensator arm (“dancer”) auto-regulates the drawing speed in function of the demand of wire from the cold heading machine. Why do more and more fasteners manufacturers utilize our in-line wire drawing machines mod. SKP? Cost saving, because rod or semi-finished wire are utilized instead of drawn wire. Reduced inventory, because in some cases from the same wire size it is possible to obtain different drawn wire sizes. The power-driven uncoilers Mod. AP are utilized for feeding cold heading machines or wire drawing machines with wire of medium-big diameter. Their main functions are: Feed and pre-straighten wire from coils into the next production machine (an in-line wire drawing machine or a cold heading machine), with consistent reduction of downtimes. Make the wire advance to the feed rolls of the cold heading machine, with reduction of the load on the feeding mechanism of the cold header.
