In addition to the bare rolls, Imeta offers – as an optional service – the seaming rolls preassembled with their pins and bearings. Seaming rolls are then provided already set and lubricated, ready to be mounted, allowing significantly shortened machine downtimes. The assembly is carried out by our skilled technicians using all the correct tools and equipment such as the hydraulic press and the dynamometric wrench. Potentially using certain old items (pins, bottom plates, dust covers), that maybe still in good condition, it is also possible to provide partial assemblies according to the client’s needs.

They are mounted on pre-lubricated angular or radial ball bearings and protected with double labyrinth, triple labyrinth dust seals with additional watertight protection. Monobloc steel rollers are used in belt conveyors with medium, heavy or very heavy loads. They are mounted vertically with sliding guide functions; horizontally for special applications such as the mounting for tangential belts in motor-driven conveyors through driven base rollers or rollers with pulley for flat belt. With plastic wheels on steel axles, assembled in sequence, they are used as an alternative to tapered rollers in gravity curves for the handling of packages with a flat supporting surface and light loads. The wheels can be individually assembled, fixed on flatbeds by means of suitable brackets, in correspondence with exchanges between curves and tracks with idlers, in conjunction between tracks with ortogonal motor-driven rollers or with the function of guide-abutment of packages.

Straight brackets made of cold-formed sheet steel, fitted with housing for supporting the roller axle.The choice of brackets to be welded or secured by screws depends on the type of roller to be supported and the installation to be achieved.See diagrams and tables.

They are used in gravity and motor-driven conveyors for guiding and keeping pallets and packages in general in line.The flanges may be made of bolted aluminum UNI 4514, bracketed and tightened on the tube according to the installation to be achieve, or of welded sheet steel, pressure keyed on the tube and joined by continuous welding.See diagrams and tables.

Due to the structural characteristics of the materials of which they are made, these rollers are used for motor-driven conveyor in combined systems of handling and stockpiling of light, medium-heavy and heavy packages in normal, dusty, corrosive, and also humid and warm environments.They are made of clamped or monobloc base rollers with steel tube, crown and simple double steel pinions, aligned on the tube or at one end of the jacket.

Steel clamped and monobloc idlers with double cylindrical tube or conical tube.They are used in the production of gravity or push curves. Curves with rollers are used to deflect the straight running direction of the package in a circular direction.Their opening angle α° is normally 45°, 90° or 180°.Depending on the flow of material running clockwise or anticlockwise, they are named right or left.In the production of curves with idlers, the following types of rollers can be used:_ individual cylindrical rollers mounted in radially staggered fashion (base-idlers)

Spinflanging rolls can be manufactured in steel using AISI D2 tools, in ASP23 and ASP30 sintered steels, with titanium coatings, hard chromium coatings, hard metal or ceramic heads. Imeta also manufactures complete spinflanging heads and complete sets of tools for Cevolani, FMI, Metal Box, LANICO and other spinflanging machines. Beader tooling can be manufactured for any machine, such as CEVOLANI, FMI, SIGKRUPP, Soudronic and more.

Thanks to the Inverter group it is possible to remove the entire mechanic clutch group, that has over 30 different part numbers (50 items). This upgrade also has the advantage of bringing significant savings during the maintenance phase, not just as regards the items that are removed, but also in terms of the gears, pins and bearings, since “softer” operations will prolong their productive lifetimes.

Ceramic ball bearings are fully resistant to corrosion as both the external and internal races are made of stainless steel, while the inner cage is made of plastic material, which is resistant against high temperatures. Thanks to the low friction of the ceramic balls, the seaming rolls require a reduced lubrication – up to five times less than standards. This saves time for the operators and the machine downtime, allowing increased production.
