Owens Corning® Milled Fibers are designed to enhance mechanical properties, increase stiffness, improve dimensional stability, and minimize distortion under elevated temperatures. EXCELLENT DISPERSION & IMPREGNATION Predispersed nature promotes excellent dispersion in the matrix. Shortfiber thermoplastic compounds will show improved melt flow characteristics with shorter input fiber lengths. IMPRESSIVE AESTHETICS Fiber length and excellent distribution qualities provide a homogeneous, highly pigmentable surface with limited fiber prints and good color. ENHANCED PART STRENGTH Glass reinforced parts exhibit improved mechanical properties, modulus and dimensional stability. Powder Relatively freeflowing with a high bulk density for use in formulations requiring very uniform dispersion and short fibers with median fiber lengths typically in the range of 40 110 microns.

SE8400 Type 30™ singleend roving is specifically designed for pultrusion processing in applications requiring high electrical resistance. Produced with Advantex®, corrosionresistant ECR glass technology by Owens Corning. Compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins. EFFICIENT PROCESSING Better wetout in polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy resin, offering fast processing and good glasstoresin bonding, resulting in optimized part production. Good wetout and resin bonding results in excellent visual appearance of parts produced. GOOD MECHANICAL PROPERTIES Low seed glass results in excellent dielectric properties which are ideal for applications requiring high electrical resistance. SE1200 singleend Type 30™ roving is a compelling solution designed specifically for knitting and weaving with versatility to work well in filament winding, pultrusion, and LFTP applications. EXCELLENT PROCESSING Smooth runout from lower drag across contact points produces less fuzz, resulting in smoother parts, less cleanup, and improved machine efficiencies. MULTIPROCESS & MULTIRESIN COMPATIBLE Flexibility for use with standard weaving looms, multiaxial knitting machines, filament winding, and pultrusion. FAST WETOUT WITH REDUCED COST Fast, uniform strand wetout leads to higher glass loading and good adhesion, resulting in optimized part production speed which supports increased productivity and betterquality finished parts. SE4818 Low Odor is specifically designed for excellent processing and handling for LFT (long fiber reinforced thermoplastic) & CFRT (continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastics) PP applications where low odor is required. LOW ODOR VERIFIED SE4818 Low Odor has been proven to meet low odor requirements per OEM test standards for automotive interior composite parts. Test methods include VDA270 German Association of the Automotive Industry, PV3900 Volkswagen SAE standards and testing and the Geely Low Odor test method Q/JLY J1770528D.
