Stout, easy to install, highly protected against environmental agents: ELAP linear wire potentiometers series HPS are the ideal solution for those industrial applications which require high accuracy and measuring length up to 8 metres. The series HPS, with potentiometer output, is supplied with strokes ranging from 250 to 8000 mm, ±0.25% linearity, 5 KOhm resistance and infinite resolution. The analogue output signals 4-20 mA or 0/10V are also optionally available. The types HPS-S, HPS-M and HPS-L differ for mechanical size and measuring stroke. Wire transducers series WDS are composed by the draw-wire mechanics coupled to Elap multiturn absolute high-resolution encoder MEM-BUS or MEM. They can provide different communication protocols – EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET, Profibus, CANopen or SSI output signal. The encoder grants high resolutions values (28 or 29 bit) and strokes ranging from 3000 to 15000 mm. The housing is out of aluminium, whilst the wire consists of coated poliamide stainless steel.

Tecno Impianti designs and manufactures coil compactors Mod. CR which are utilized together with our drawing lines equipped with the wire drawing bullblocks Mod. MO/P. The wire drawn by the bullblocks Mod. MO/P is taken-out of the rotating platform through a coil extractor and positioned on the compactor. The compacted coil will be strapped by means of steel strapping unit and then it will be tilted in a horizontal position for permitting an easy unload by a fork-lift truck.

Our range is composed of machines for processing wire with maximum inlet diameter 6,0 – 6,5 mm., for obtaining wire with minimum diameter 1,80 mm. and machines for processing wire with maximum inlet diameter 3,0 mm., for obtaining wire with minimum diameter 0,80 mm. The take-up of the drawn wire is on reels, or in form of coils of drawn wire.

In the models MV, which cover a range of wire diameters from 4,0 to 12,0 mm., the drawn wire can be coiled on the wire drawing capstan and then taken-up with a coil extractor, or, after the wire drawing operation, it can be sent to a vertical spooler which spools it on reels. The models MVC, commonly known as vertical inverted bullblocks, cover a range of wire diameters from 5,0 to 9,0 mm. The wire drawn on this type of machine is taken-up on wire carriers positioned under the wire drawing capstan.

These wire drawing bullblocks are utilized for big productions of drawn wire and are meant for wire drawing companies which produce cold heading wire or for big manufacturers of fasteners who execute the wire drawing off-line and take the drawn wire to the cold heading machines, in the form of wire coiled on wire carriers or as bound coils. The horizontal wire drawing bullblocks Mod. MO/P are manufactured by us in 4 different models, for covering a range of wire diameters between 6,0 and 30,0 mm. The drawn wire is taken-up on a rotating platform positioned into a hole in front of the capstan. It is taken-out with wire carriers or through a coil extractor.

The in-line wire drawing machine mod. SKP is a horizontal-axis monobloc which is positioned between the uncoiler and the cold heading machine. Its function is to size the wire to the exact wire diameter needed for the cold heading application. The in-line wire drawing machine works in automatic with the cold heading machine. The compensator arm (“dancer”) auto-regulates the drawing speed in function of the demand of wire from the cold heading machine. Why do more and more fasteners manufacturers utilize our in-line wire drawing machines mod. SKP? Cost saving, because rod or semi-finished wire are utilized instead of drawn wire. Reduced inventory, because in some cases from the same wire size it is possible to obtain different drawn wire sizes.
