Seaming chucks and rolls made from tool steel are generally considered the industry standard for can factories, while canneries generally use stainless steel. Other types of steel are commonly used in the production of seaming chucks for Easy open covers, especially for those chucks that suffer from a weak chuck lip.

Curling segments and rings can be manufactured in steel with AISI D2, ASP23, ASP30 tools and other canmaking hightech steels. Should the engineering drawings no longer be available, our Technical Office can provide a “reverseengineering” service for your tools.

Ems99 production also includes punch holders. These tools can be made of steel or brass. We also have practical plastic boxes to keep your punches in order
