Moreover, it is able to compensate for ovalized and/or oversized holes. This type of rivet can be used also with soft or fragile materials, such as plastic, aluminium and composite materials, without damaging them during the fastening.

The grooved rivet is mainly used in the building field. The grooving on the rivet body allows to increase considerably the grip between rivet body and material thickness. It guarantees a good fixing of the two components even if inside dead holes.

The tensile test and the maximum clamping force test is carried out with steel and aluminium, for steel screws of resistance class 12.9, while stainless steel, with screws of resistance class A2/70.Resistance values may be subject to changes
