Evergreen shrub or small tree, rounded and with a compact habit. Its leaves are lance-shaped and stiff, dark or light-green. It offers a spectacular bloom, with sweet-scented, pink, white or red flowers.

Loropetalum is a genus of shrubs or small trees of the Hamamelidaceae family, native to China, Japan and eastern Asia. The flowers are produced in "clusters" during the spring and are similar to those of the species of the genus Hamamelis. Each flower consists of four or six (depending on the species) narrow and elongated petals, from 1 to 2 cm.

Very branched shrub with an erect and compact habit. It produces shiny green leaves on the top and silvery leaves on the underside. Its branches are slightly thorny. It has clusters of pendulous white flowers.

Perennial herbaceous plants belonging to the Liliaceae family, originally from South Africa. The name derives from the Greek agàpe (love) and ànthos (flower). The agapantus flower is sky blue and is gathered as if to form a large umbrella: it can reach up to 60 cm in height.
