Mantis is an award-winning ergonomic 3D stereo microscopes which offer exceptional operator comfort and superb 3D imaging. No awkward eyepieces and no hunched posture, operators can increase productivity through a stress-free viewing experience, seeing more and doing more than is possible with conventional microscopes. Mantis provides superb 3D imaging, but also allows freedom of head movement which means that operators can view around the subject, instead of being restricted to a 2D, top-down, view. Use it for inspection, preparation, manipulation tasks, and is ideal for quality inspection of assemblies, repairs and reworks, sample preparation, dissection and more. Mantis Elite-Cam HD features an integrated HD camera, with versatile image and video capture software, plus the ability to add annotations. A range of powerful software packages provide on-screen dimensioning, enhancement and documentation and analysis tools. Magnification range 2-20x

Do you have highly precise and very sensitive equipment, such as a microscope, an inspection device, an imaging system or a polishing machine and is the use of an active or passive isolation platform , insufficient? It may be that local/global resonances are degrading the performance of the isolation system, because it is not stiff enough or because perturbation sources are located on the isolated part. In such a case, our Active Damping Devices provide a solution by introducing structural damping into most of the unwanted mechanical resonances. Up to 15% structural damping can be achieved, without any major redesign effort. Compared to passive dampers, the ADD are lighter and not sensitive to changes in the supporting structure dynamics.Structural vibration reduction of isolated machines for performance improvement (microlithography, microscope, chip manufacturing or inspection machines, etc.)

Reliable and easy to handle inspection microscope for routine tasks in metallography, earth science, forensic investigation, materials quality control and research. Constant color temperature for all contrasting methods thanks to the universal LED-illumination. Smallest surface structures and defects are visualized due to the integrated oblique illumination. The macro objective with a 0.7x magnification enables you to see 40mm of the sample at a glance. Three objective series for selection, objective magnifications from 0.7x up to 150x. Simple, fast and accurate adjustment of objective magnification, contrast and depth of field with the Color Coded Diaphragm Assistant.

This special Metzner development is able to process cable wires with a diameter of up to 28 mm. The cycle time for this is 2000 mm / 35 seconds. The processing steps include long slitting, sawing, circumferential cutting, stripping, brushing and depositing. An integrated ink jet printer labels the cable wires with information or markings. As the heart of the processing method, Metzner uses a newly developed stripping head that combines a rotary cut with a powerful clamping and simultaneous rotation of the material. This enables a high-precision, multi-stage radial cut through the various layers of material. Microscopic quality inspection confirms that the processing is flawless with no scratches, pressure or abrasion marks. In addition to the high machining quality, the machinery also offers special precision: both the overall length and the machining position are maintained with an accuracy of 0.2 mm. The machine can process cable wires with diameters up to 28 mm.
