The BL ident® connectivity portfolio offers field-wireable extension cables in various versions (Standard, Economy and Food & Beverage) for the secure communication between interface and read/write head as well as field-wireable bus and supply lines. The accessories include mounting adapters for read/write heads and tags, as well as protective frames for read/write heads. In addition, the portfolio also includes handheld readers for mobile reading and writing of data carriers.

For location-independent reading and writing of the tags (data carriers), we offer handhelds for the HF or UHF frequency band. The data is displayed on the touch screen of the TA handhelds and can be edited and written to appropriate tags by means of our application software. Depending on the requirements, the handhelds can be supplied with barcode scanner, WLAN and customized application software on request.

The BL ident® interfaces are obtainable as a set together with the gateway and one to four RFID modules in IP20 or IP67. Also available are interfaces for connection to PROFIBUS-DP, EtherNet/IP™, Modbus TCP, DeviceNet™, PROFINET, CANopen und EtherCAT®. A maximum of 16 parallel operating channels are possible. Programmable gateways enable distributed and fast signal processing. Alternatively, the BL compact series offers customized interfaces in the form of compact, fully potted IP67 components.

The rugged tags (data carriers) with high protection class are insensitive to dirt and liquids and are available with a max. memory size of 8 kB. They are passively powered via the read/write head and are maintenance free. Tags for high temperatures and direct mounting on metal allow flexible use under extreme conditions. Tags for use in hazardous areas and autoclavs complete the product portfolio.

Application optimized read/write heads in the industry-standard design (up to IP69K with HF), allow for optimal integration into your application. Depending on the environmental conditions, read-write ranges of up to 1 m (HF) or several meters (UHF) are possible. The radio interface for read/write heads and data carriers is internationally standardized (ISO 15693 and ISO 18000-6c with HF at UHF).

Identification & Inking Unit for semi-finished lenses (type MITSF) The new concept of MITSF machine is designed to identify and print progressive and multifocalsemi-finished lenses. The PPOS system, integrated in the unit, detects the μ-engravings or the upper segment line and identifies the semi-finished by reading the identification code (check of product code, Addition, base, eye, logo at the edge or under the μ-engravings) by Optical Character Recognition. The inspected lenses are then inked by a robot, permitting a large flexibility in image choice (10 plates – 20 images). The data of this machine can be transmitted to the automatic packaging unit, eliminating any product mispack.

We offer printed packaging for credit card, gift card and all kinds of card of similar size. Card holder is printed on hight quality digital printed on thick cardboard. Also matt or glossy finish can be applied. Printed card holder is not expensive and excellent looking olution for credit cards etc.

The plates are designed to be fixed to the maturing racks, but also to other supports such as our Sanair range. The information is written with a dry-erase marker.

The DIAMOND Network Acceptance (DNA) Kit is an FBG-based (Fiber Bragg Grating), easy-to-use testing system for fiber-optic P2P networks. The system provides the capability of a clear Optical Line Identification (OLiD), thanks to the integration of FBGs within connectivity components. This allows the line integrity and link correctness to be checked from a single access point.
