Alloys 304 (S30400) and 304L (S30403) stainless steels are variations of the 18 percent chromium – 8 percent nickel austenitic alloy, the most familiar and most frequently used alloy in the stainless steel family. High strength, excellent corrosion resistance and minimized carbon content make Alloy 304 and 304L Stainless Steels useful for applications where welding is required. Uses include architectural mouldings and trim, welded components of chemical, textile, paper, pharmaceutical and chemical industry processing equipment. Other advantages are its resistance to oxidation, excellent formability, ease of fabrication and cleaning, excellent strength to weight ratio and good toughness at cryogenic temperatures. A flexible and cost-effective way of connecting tubes to each other reliably and stably. RK Rose+Krieger developed the precision-cast stainless steel tube connectors specially for heavy loads and impact-resistance. The high-strength tube connectors are resistant to high temperatures and corrosion, and are engineered for dynamic loads. An electrochemical passivation – the tube connectors are electropolished in a final working step – makes them more resilient and resistant to acids than elements made of untreated stainless steel. As a result they are particularly resistant to cleaning with aggressive cleaning agents or hot water from high-pressure cleaners, and ideally suitable for use in packaging machines or for feeding technology in plants in the chemicals industry. Stainless steel clamp connectors are tough. Stainless steel clamps are particularly important for users working in the fields of chemical and food technology.

Tightest Tolerance Control The control process during manufacture of these tubes is critical to meet the highest specifications demanded in this area. The percentage Cross Section Area Reduction (% CSAR) through pilgering and drawing is specific to each product’s dimensions and specifications. Surface Finish The ID surface finish is further refined by passivation, polishing or electro polishing processes.
