The sample drill for stalk material is a sampler especially for hay, silage, straw, herbs, bushes or other stalky plant dry material where other drills quickly get tangled. Reasons to this vary – increasing energy consumption, rising prices of traditional energy resources, lack of raw material for production of wood chips pellets, development of heating technologies. Hay pellets burn just as well as wood pellets. The efficiency is calculated by the amount burned minus the ash content. So grass based pellets usually have a 1%-2% higher ash content, but after burning the ash can be used as ecological fertilizer in the farming.
