Every Monta customer has the choice of two operating modes: FIFO and FEFO. FIFO or “First in, first out” means that the products that are entered and stocked first are also processed first by the order processing team. Ideal for rotating stock of seasonal products, for example. FEFO or “First expired, first out” means that the least long-lasting products are shipped first, even if they arrive later than another batch during goods receipt, for example. This serves as a quality guarantee for your products, and has a direct impact on customer satisfaction. Looking for a fulfilment party that takes the FEFO or FIFO working methods into account? Monta offers both options! Your choice depends on your requirements. After each goods receipt, our system checks whether there are any existing open orders for this item (back orders). Are there existing back orders for this item? Then these are automatically activated for delivery. Easy!

Monta has set itself the target to check, allocate a warehouse location and book in the received goods within two hours. This process is constantly monitored. Our working procedures ensure that your products are available for sale as quickly as possible during the goods receipt process. After the goods receipt process has been completed, the original packing slip is scanned and automatically emailed to you. All products we receive are photographed. These photos can be accessed via the online portal.

All incoming products are unpacked, checked and entered into our IT system. We use closely timed service levels for this. If we receive your goods in the morning, they make it to the warehouse on the same day.

When goods are received, we can take additional care by recording the best-before date. This is ideal for the fulfilment of food products; such as foodstuffs and supplements. Monta records the best before dates of these products at product receipt. These types of products cannot be sent to customers if they a) do not have a batch number or b) if the best before date has expired. Food products can also have inbound and outbound periods; in other words when these products can no longer be received or shipped by Monta. It’s the customer’s responsibility to monitor which best before dates are about to expire. This is clearly displayed in the Monta portal reports. These reports can also be sent out automatically by email.

We have a proprietary webshop dashboard: Monta portal, where you have real-time insight into real-time goods receipt, stock information, order processing, shipping, returns and other relevant data. Webshop link to carriers Naturally, we can link your webshop to various carriers via the Monta portal. For the shipment of webshop orders, we have standard operational links with various carriers, enabling pre-notifications, shipping labels and track & trace information for problem-free implementation.

Accurate stock management is essential at Monta. We realize a 100 percent reliable stock by accurately registering all steps in the logistics process: Upon receipt of the goods; When processing; In the event of breakage or failure.

LOGOSYS processes around 700 trucks per month at the Darmstadt and Biebesheim locations with around 24,000 pallets and a total weight of 16,000 tons. This requires targeted organization on the company premises. In order to optimally control the goods receipt and the goods issue, we use the time slot management system of Cargo-Clix. The LOGOSYS own fleet, with currently 31 trucks, is primarily used for special transport tasks, such as for patient care and hospital care. Because patients and hospitals place special demands on the service of our drivers and are dependent on the reliable, daily delivery of essential medicines and consumables. In this context, the area of ​​production supply and production disposal should also be mentioned. The company's own fleet is also used here. Just in time in the form of firm planning, LOGOSYS supplies the individual production areas. The same applies to the disposal of the production areas and the timely supply of the warehouse.
