The corrugated board industry traditionally relies on corn starch and wheat starch. AGRANA corn and wheat starches are characterised by excellent adhesion and rapid initial tack, which is particularly important at high machine operating speeds.

The label is inserted by the operator under the shaft which is located in front of the gluing cylinder which, with its continuous rotation, drag and applies a thin film of glue, handing the operator already ready to be applied. A special device allows the micrometric regulation of the glue, allowing a perfect gluing and the maximum cleanliness of the label. The EME gluing machines are made of stainless steel and brass, while the tray of glue is in ABS antacid. All parts in contact with the glue are interlocking and can be disassembled easily without any tools, making it quick and easy cleaning. USABLE GLUE: The gluing machines use a sticky compound consisting of powdered dextrin diluted in water. 400 grams of dextrin must be mixed with 600 ml of water. This is vegetable glue derived from potato starch.

MS80 - MANUAL GLUE GUN WITH GRANULAR HOT MELTS The MS 80 glue gun works with granular hot melts without compressed air. Simply connect them to the socket – ready. Use the thermostatic controls to set the requested temperature between 20°C and 200°C and you always work with the optimum glue temperature. Pull the trigger to apply the melted granulate. The glue dosing system is a simple and reliable system that allows the application of a certain amount of glue on boxes, cartons, trays, etc. The expulsion of the glue is controlled by an electro-pneumatic valve, controlled by the operator with a pedal or button. The amount of glue to be dispensed can be easily adjusted using a timer. Thanks to the valve that discharges the excess air, it is also possible to apply just one glue point without risking leaking from the gluing machine. The gluing machines are supplied with about 3 meters of compressed air hose. The length of the tube can be changed during the order.
