Bentoshield MAX LM is manufactured by a needle-punching process, in which the fibres of the lower non-woven geotextile are pushed through the bentonite layer and secured in the retaining upper woven layer. This process links the geotextiles and contains and confines the bentonite. Following the needle-punching process, an LDPE sheet is laminated to the needle-punched geotextile through a hot-melt glue application line. Bentoshield MAX LM is satisfactory for use as a fully-bonded Type A waterproofing protection as defined in BS 8102 : 2009 for the waterproofing of new and existing structures. The product can be used externally on horizontal floor slabs and vertical walls to provide an effective barrier to the transmission of liquid water where Grades 1 to 3 waterproofing protection are required, as defined in Table 2 of BS 8102 : 2009.

The glue dosing system is a simple and reliable system that allows the application of a certain amount of glue on boxes, cartons, trays, etc. The expulsion of the glue is controlled by an electro-pneumatic valve, controlled by the operator with a pedal or button. The amount of glue to be dispensed can be easily adjusted using a timer. Thanks to the valve that discharges the excess air, it is also possible to apply just one glue point without risking leaking from the gluing machine. The gluing machines are supplied with about 3 meters of compressed air hose. The length of the tube can be changed during the order. The label is inserted by the operator under the shaft which is located in front of the gluing cylinder which, with its continuous rotation, drag and applies a thin film of glue, handing the operator already ready to be applied. A special device allows the micrometric regulation of the glue, allowing a perfect gluing and the maximum cleanliness of the label. The EME gluing machines are made of stainless steel and brass, while the tray of glue is in ABS antacid. All parts in contact with the glue are interlocking and can be disassembled easily without any tools, making it quick and easy cleaning. USABLE GLUE: The gluing machines use a sticky compound consisting of powdered dextrin diluted in water. 400 grams of dextrin must be mixed with 600 ml of water. This is vegetable glue derived from potato starch.
