Using GEDA's suspended working platform means that façades can be worked on cost-effectively regardless of building height. The 1½" tubes used ensure that the new GEDA suspended working platform standard is flexible in its use and very scaffold-friendly. One particularly practical feature is that all screws have the same width across the flats. The platform is big enough for personnel and materials and the centimetre-level precision setting of the operating height always ensures the most ergonomically favourable position during any works. Both for transportation and for assembly/disassembly the new GEDA suspended working platform Standard benefits greatly from the low self-weight of the platform and the outrigger. Its ease of handling – without losable small parts – also translates into huge time and cost savings.

With the rope suspended working platforms from GEDA, you can work on building façades, but also on silos, towers, cooling towers, industrial plants, pits, etc. without a scaffold. The platform offers enough space for people and materials. You can exactly adjust the working height of the platform to the centimetre, which always grants ergonomic posture. The hot-dip galvanized outriggers on the roof are easily installed and removed because of their plug connections. The components are very lightweight and can be transported by one person. The MBS hydraulic cylinders of the MZR-1019 series are lightweight cylinders where weight is of crucial importance. They were designed for the areas of mobile hydraulics, crane and aerial work platform construction. All cylinders work with low friction and are characterized by a stick-slip-free run. Lift and piston rod overhang are variable selectable. The cylinder connection is via plain bearing bushes. Connections are provided on the valve plate or a control block, which are flanged to the cylinder via welded pipes, in accordance with DIN EN 280. With the exception of the piston rod, all surfaces are protected against corrosion with a black primer. On request alternative surface treatments are possible. The surface of the piston rod is hard chromed, ground and polished. The cylinders are suitable for hydraulic fluids of types H, HL and HLP according to DIN 51524/51525. Single and multi-stage spray chamber washing systems for industrial cleaning and degreasing of tools and parts. Loading takes place via an extendable loading platform at ergonomic working height. Before cleaning, the loading basket is loaded and moved into the rinsing chamber. The individual stainless steel washing nozzles can be easily maintained and adjusted according to the application. The motor-driven spraying rotor completely revolves around the loaded parts. The washing system is operated via a side switch box with electrical control. Before the washing process, the loading basket is loaded and driven into the rinsing chamber via a roller conveyor. The door is closed manually (optionally also automatically). The machine reaches an operating temperature of 40°C within just a few minutes. After a further 30 minutes, the maximum washing temperature of 70°C is reached. The motor-driven spraying gyro completely revolves around the parts to be washed.

With traction of 650 kp and a lifting speed of 8 m/min, the GEDA AB 650 M material winch ensures the efficient and reliable transportation of materials along façades. Various suspension rope lengths, extension cords which can be ordered as an option, outriggers (either with a 2.0 or 2.8 metre radius) and ballast weights ensure that the winch adapts flexibly to the on-site conditions and requirements. A conversion kit to a load capacity of 1,300 kg is available for the transportation of larger loads. The GEDA AB 650 M material winch is of course equipped with the usual safety equipment including a rope coil monitoring system and an overload safety device.

GEDA's “electrical scaffold“, the mast climbing platforms GEDA MCP 750 (single mast platform) and MCP 1500 (twin mast platform) are convincing in many ways. Contrary to ordinary platforms, these mast climbing platforms are easy to handle. They can be assembled and dismantled without any problems. For the assembly of the pedestal, grid-supports for standard scaffold components, scaffold coatings, guardrails and toe boards are used. This means economic use in several ways. Ever-tighter safety regulations and extensive assembly times of a suitable working platform increase the complexity of service work on conical process vessels. For such requirements we have designed an intelligent solution: the customer-specific, modular working platforms for conical process vessels, such as reactors, orbital arm and screw dryers and conical mixers are secure, fast and easy to install. The platforms consist of a stable aluminum construction, are TÜV certified, CE-compliant and can be reused for many years. Their modular design enables installation via manway or other vessel nozzles. The individual modules have a low net weight and are easy to handle: The platform is securely fastened with just a few screws. Special rubber pads protect the vessel’s wall surface. Upon request, we provide working platforms with rescue hatches and any type of flaps – tailor-made to meet customer requirements. Additional features such as ladders are also provided.

For the abandonment of Offshore structures special legal requirements apply. Tubes have to be deconstructed under the seabed. This requires special technologies. Our Downhole Cutting Heads (DCHs) can be inserted into tubes and casings over an umbilical from the working platform. Arriving at the destination they clamp in the tubes and perform a 360 degrees cut which severs the tube underneath the seabed. The DCH is pulled out and afterwards the pulling of the tube is possible. Cuttings can be performed up to 150 m (500 ft) deep and pipe sizes between 7” and 72” diameter, whereby the wall thickness can be up to 20” thick. For every requirement we offer the appropriate DCH. By extensions nearly every kind of pipe/tubing/casing can be cut.
