They are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. The berry-shaped cone fruits are used to flavour various drinks. Besides being used in drinks, juniper is also used in marinades and sauerkraut. Juniper berries can also be added to supplements and slimming products. Whole juniper berries can be used in, for example, yoghurts or as a snack."
