Ideal for trimming and scoring hidden airbag compartments on thermoformed skin. After the fabrication of IP skins through thermoforming, two separate fabrication steps are still needed before foaming. In the first step, the thermoformed skin will be trimmed in the external zone through punching or a blade cutting process. Depending on the requirements, this is where FRIMO's blade cutting equipment comes into operation. In the second step, the skin will be weakened in the airbag area by a blade. By using the new FRIMO FlexTrim Combi Trim Scoring machine, both steps can be realised at once. The skin is positioned in a common component fixture and finished with two different cutting tools. The new system concept, with its flexible design and layout possibilities, offers a variety of options for combinable process and operation groupings. A single machine with a combined punching, embossing and joining system The FRIMO CombiCut machine is a specially developed single unit for punching, embossing and joining bumpers and other grained, painted or unpainted exterior plastic components. The CombiCut is very well suited for large-scale production, especially with many variations. This means optional punchings and mounting elements such as parking assistants, headlight wipers, fog lamps, side-markers and trailer hitches can be added just prior to final assembly, reducing inventories and simplifying storage.

TYP C 069/G Cutting, stamping and bending device for radial components Description To eliminate belt- tolerances the Streckfuss machine Type C 069 G was developed with an integrated touch- facility. With this all usual in the trade component- belts which meet the IEC- Norm can effortless be processed. The component is formed and cut with a maximum tolerance of ± 0,1 mm. The supply of components is exclusively done by reel. For this the machine has a combined location for reel and amo- pack. To save set- up time all necessary toolkits for specific formings are mounted in one unit. These toolkits can be inserted or exchanged within a very short time. When inserting a toolkit the driving- mechanism automatically will be locked. The machine is prepared to keep 2 processing- units. One unit performs upward formings and the other performs downward formings. After the components have been formed and cut they are ejected into a bin for collection. Components
