Small parts in large quantities? Electrical engineering in particular requires very quick machines. Electrical engineering is also becoming increasingly important in IT, with particularly small components required here. The machines from SIM Automation GmbH can detect even the smallest deviations of mere millimeters during sorting. Thanks to the modular design as well as a wide range of accessories the ultraflexible high-performance lighting LQHP80 can be converted from a reflected light into homogeneous or collimated backlight. In addition, the radiation angle can be adapted to the size and distance of the test object by diverse lens kit options. The compact housing design with IP64 withstand demanding industrial environments and fits into even very limited installation surroundings thanks to a highly flexible 3D-cable outlet. With the integrated controller technology for either permanent, switch or flash operation modes, an irradiance of more than 5.0 millions lx can be achieved.

With a free inner diameter of 45 mm, an outer diameter of 100 mm, a design height of 25 mm and a weight of just 250 g, the LR45 is very compact. The three-dimensional cable outlet on the back enables highly flexible electrical integration of the light. Rear mounting threads and versatile accessories allow uncomplicated mechanical connection to various cameras and sensors. This makes the LR45 the ideal choice for use in confined spaces as well as in motion handling and robot vision systems – even under demanding industrial conditions thanks to IP64 protection. Despite its compact exterior, high-performance integrated controller technology for either continuous, switched or flash operation mode is hidden inside the LR45. In addition, the light has high-speed trigger inputs and the option of brightness control. The irradiance characteristics of the light can be adjusted to the application with the aid of ancillary lenses.
