On request, we supply ball caster rails / ball transfer units rails adapted to your individual requirements. We usually use rectangular section tubes with 2-4mm thick walls. The tubes are galvanised in the standard procedure, but can also be supplied with powder-coated surfaces in different RAL colours. Ball caster spacing patterns can be carried out in accordance with the collar size of the ball casters used. We supply profile lengths of up to maximum 6,000 mm. The ball casters / ball units are mounted by means of press fitting and are easily replaceable. So you’d like to “get something special rolling”, but have questions about it!? Melt pump specially designed for use in the production of medical tubing made of TPE, PE or PA. The melt pump is installed downstream of the extruder in the extrusion process for pressure build-up and constant delivery of the melt to the die. It is particularly important for medical tubing that the wall thickness and quality is absolutely constant and uniform.

If required, we can supply capillaries and tubes with predetermined break points. For this purpose, the component is notched at the required breaking location. If the component is then subjected to a bending force, it will break at the notched point. To prevent unintended breakage, we recommend using medium or thick-walled tubes and capillaries.

We manufacture reagent and centrifuge tubes in standard sizes and also with special dimensions and versions from soda glass, borosilicate glass, neutral glass, and quartz glass – optionally with or without flanged rim. All our tubes have a flame burnished rim and can be supplied with a rounded, flat or pointed conical bottom. We are able to process tubes with diameters up to 40 mm, and lengths up to about 500 mm – also thick-walled tubes. Special reagent micro tubes We are able to manufacture reagent micro tubes with rounded bottoms, i.e. with very small dimensions. For example, soda glass tubes with rounded bottom, flame burnished rim, 3 mm diameter, and a length of 20 mm. Test tubes with notch for thermal processes These special test tubes were developed to enable ventilation of the tube’s interior during a thermal process. The notch prevents complete closure and thus an over pressure.

To cut capillary tubes, special blades are required, which are made of a material that is harder than glass. Normally, blades with an extremely hard diamond edge are used. However, zirconium oxide blades are a less expensive and convenient alternative. They are also very hard, and can be sharpened easily at any time by simple regrinding. These blades are excellently suited for cutting glass capillaries, as the flat blade can be drawn accurately across the glass surface. Moreover, the capillaries can be parted cleanly at the incision point. This method can even be used on extremely fine test tubes with wall thicknesses of only 0,01 mm. For convenient and secure use in one hand, the blades can be clamped into our aluminium blade holders. Therefore, we recommend requesting the blade holder as well. Glass cutting-tools
