The new strain gage amplifier with IO-Link interface enables digitalization of the measurement technology right from the sensor. Its compact design and high degree of protection allow the instrumentation amplifier to be used practically anywhere in the field. Strain gage sensors typically have an output voltage of a few millivolts. In industrial environments, e.g. in the vicinity of electric motors or frequency converters, interference can affect the measurement result when transmitting analog signals. This is reliably avoided using the new strain gage amplifier with IO-Link interface. The analog link between the sensor and instrumentation amplifier is kept as short as possible, the standardized IO-Link communication is fully digital and interference-free. The amplifier is powered directly via the IO-Link interface – a standardized 5-wire cable with M12 socket. Strain gage sensors can be connected via a 4-pin M8 connector.

The 501/RCG can be used for quick field connection of cables to equipment where historically hard wiring methods are used. This solution offers cost savings when carrying out essential inspectionand maintenance activities, including the capability to quickly swap out equipment on-site. GLOBALFLEX®-H05VV-F conrol cables have been successfully used or many decades as measuring and control cables in tool machinery, plant installation, power stations and in data equipment. GLOBALFLEX®-H05VV5-F control cables are used for forced movements in dry, moist and wet rooms (also water-oil-mixtures) but not suitable for outdoor. Extremely flexible, the GLOBALFLEX®-H05VV5-F control cables are particulary suitable for laying where there is free movement. To be used as halogen free, flame retardant and environmentally power, control and connecting cable in electrical facilities, in fire vulnerable areas and facilities with high concentration of people and proberty values, for fixed laying and flexible applications without tensile stress and without defined cable routing. Suitable for use in dry an humid rooms. Outdoor use only with UV-protection, no laying underground. The copper braided screening prevents electrical and magnetic interference of the control cable with the environment and of the environment with the internal cable cores.c

This cable has been manufactured for audio engineering only but these cables are also suitable in areas of houshold appliances such as very flexible network-connecting cable appliances. GLOBALFLEX®-SOFT is very ductile and is very easy to handle due to the improved talcum effect. The outer sheath is lead-free and offers contitional abrasion as well as conditional oil and UV-resistance.
