In physics the absence of material in a room is called a vacuum. This means that, in addition to no solid objects present, there is also a gas pressure of (almost) zero, thus below atmospheric pressure. RIEGLER vacuum technology consists of vacuum ejectors, suction grippers and various system supplements, such as connection parts, sensors, flow valves and pressure switches.

To create ideal conditions in terms of rigidity and damping for multi-axis machining, the series was equipped with hydrostatic (oil) bearings. By using diamond tools, optical surface quality can be achieved on a wide range of materials like crystals, nonferrous metals and plastics, even with complex geometries. Similar to the MMC 600/900 air bearing machines, the basic setup can be equipped with various accessories. The basic setup consists of 3 linear axes and can be upgraded by additional rotary, tilt or spindle axes to 4, 5 or 6 axes. Accessories, like different spindles, vacuum chucks, palleting systems, 3D touch probes for workpiece measurement, tool changer and automated tool setting, allow an effective use of the machine. Pneumatically actuated magnetic gripper type PNEUMAG are pneumatic switchable bi-stable magnetic systems. Air pressure is only needed for switching. The magnet system is permanent and thus keeps safe even with pressure drop. PNEUMAG magnetic grippers enable thin, perforated or textured sheet metal parts (from 0,5mm) take and safe to transport what they recommended specifically for use in automatic and semi-automatic feeding systems as well as slings for robot grippers. PNEUMAG is the alternative to vacuum conveying systems. They were tested on a metal sheet St37 with smooth and clean surface. Note that depending on the application a safety factor of 2 or 3 has to be included.

The bin blender is a special form of free-fall blender. Bin blenders are used wherever the volume of usually available containers are not sufficient for the batch, or the given process requires a fixed clamped blending container. The design of the bin blender can be customized to customer specifications. Scalable system, consisting of paint stripping, rinsing, conveyance of the workpieces, and (optional) vacuuming. Multitank systems can be manufactured on the basis of the TB400 or the TB1000. The basic unit is a system consisting of 1 paint stripping tank, 1 rinsing tank, drip station, semi-automatic conveyance system, and vacuum (optional). On this basis, we can design systems with various different paint stripping tanks (e.g., for different kinds of paint stripping agents), with one or several rinsing tanks, and (optionally) vacuuming for connection to the customer's waste gas disposal system.

The deburring grinding machine is a manually operated, user-friendly deburring machine that is suitable for various machining processes such as grinding, deburring, edge rounding and polishing of metal surfaces. The swivel arm can rotate 180° and enables the simultaneous mounting of two machining discs. The machine is equipped with a vacuum system that fixes the workpiece on the table.

The AY series was developed specifically for sheet handling. They can measure technically with vacuum systems in the thin sheet area and are much more efficient. They are only switched on with a short compressed air impulse between 5 and 8 bar. They are low-maintenance and have very fast switch-on times. Individual solutions with multiple parallel-controlled magnets simplify your lifting task or work process. It is not just used in fully automatic systems, but rather also for the simples manual lifting processes.
