Franke Bearing Assemblies Type LVA are ready-to-install bearing assemblies with steel housing rings and integrated bearing element. They are suitable for medium rotational speeds and accuracies. They are available at short notice, some of them even from stock. Designed as 4 point bearings, they can support equally high loads from all directions and are insensitive to shocks and vibrations. Type LVA bearing assemblies are sealed on both sides and adjusted with preload.

Our sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges. The special types consist of 11 types of sealing brushes which we can produce in a large range of variations on your request. You can choose: - All fill types, e.g. natural bristles and hair, plant fibres, synthetic filaments and wires.- The quality of the backing material, e.g. galvanized steel, stainless steel (1.4301; 1.4571) or brass.- The trim height (BH) (free bristle length- The overall length from a few centimeters to the maximum length which can be transported. We also can supply all sealing brush types with fixing holes in the holding flanges, e.g. 22 available sizes of round holes and 13 sizes of elongated holes. Don't hesitate to ask us for other dimensions of fixing holes, too.

Our sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges, for example in a self-adhesive design, or fixed by screws or by welding. As our standard types which are available from stock we chose our most demanded sealing brushes concerning the trim heights and overall lengths. Our standard types we supply from stock in 7 different profile types made of galvanised steel, heat-resistant also in high thermal fluctuations. The stock types are filled with polyamide (PA6), mane hair (MAH) and phosphorbronze-wire (PHB).

Franke bearing assemblies type LVD are suitable for medium rotational speeds and accuracies. They can be supplied at short notice, in some cases even from stock. Designed as 4-point bearings, they can support equally high loads from all directions and are insensitive to shocks and vibrations. The bearing elements are sealed on both sides and adjusted to preload.

Franke bearing asseblies type LVC are bearing assemblies made of steel, designed as double row angular contact ball bearings with integrated bearing elements. Franke LVC are suitable for highest circumferential speeds. They convince by very high dynamics and a very low rotational resistance. The double row angular contact ball bearings in a 4-point arrangement are preloaded. They are insensitive to shocks and vibrations. The low rotational resistance and the minimal breakaway torque reduce the required drive power. Due to the low coefficients of friction, Type LVC bearing assemblies operate almost maintenance-free and achieve a long service life.

The measuring element of the load cell consists of a double bending beam on which strain gages are applied. The applied force detunes the measuring bridge so that a proportional output voltage is generated. The strain gages on the measuring element are protected against dirt and water spray by a rubber bellows. The sensor can be easily mounted via two mounting holes. The tension or compression force to be measured is introduced at the opposite end perpendicular to the sensor axis. Due to its special design, the influence by an extension (e.g. touch finger) on the measuring signal is low. Overload protection can be realized with little effort using a mechanical stop. This force measurement chain was developed for applications where a low cost solution is more important than achieving high levels of accuracy. The sensors strain gauge technology allows the measurement of static and dynamic forces. The load cell is also designed for applications that provide only little space due to its compact design. It is important that the force is applied axially to the center of the sensor. The domed form, however, minimizes the effect of a force that is not exactly axial.

The 8524 precision tension & compression load cell is a versatile sensor for highly accurate load measurements in diverse applications. Optimum measurement quality is achieved with the load cell mounted on a flat, hard and polished contact surface. This requirement does not apply to small measurement ranges of up to 0 ... 2 kN because three knife-edge bearings ensure that the sensor is seated securely. Our brochure „Load Cells“ explains how you can design parasitic loads out of your mechanical system. Through-holes in the outer flange are used for fastening the 8524 sensor to the system structure. The load is applied via the central blind threaded hole or optionally via a load button. Alternatively, a pull plate and even rod end bearings, if desired, can be attached to the sensor for equally easy measurement of purely tensile loads, for instance in Bowden cables or chains. The 8524 sensor is designed to measure static, quasi-static and dynamic compressive and/or tensile loads.
