Compact castors combine a particularly impressive load capacity with a low mounting height. Some of these castors can support loads of up to 700 kg, with a total height of just 112 mm. Compact twin castors can handle even more: up to 1750 kg with a total height of just 125 mm. They are perfectly suited for reducing the risk of tall and heavy furniture tipping over due to a high centre of gravity. That’s why they are frequently used for server racks or control cabinets. Compact castors are the first choice when significant load capacities are required despite space being at a premium, such as under a hospital bed.

The reliability and safety of a sensor is extremely important, particularly in high-pressure applications such as water-jet cutting equipment and hydraulic circuits. The dynamic loading encountered in these applications requires the use of sensors that are specially adapted for high pressure ranges. It is exactly these tough requirements that are satisfied by the model number 8221 sensor. With dynamic pressures, for example, an unlimited number of measurements can be taken if the pressure lies within the range from 0 ... 70% full scale. By combining taper concentricity with no backlash with an extremely large planar surface, combined with high torque, BENZ Solidfix® offers a maximum in stability and rigidity, which is even capable of withstanding the demands of milling. The high torque transmission and the highest possible rpms also stress the effectiveness. This is supported by a special clamping mechanism which works centrally, without lateral forces, which in combination with the compact, highly precise components used achieves optimal values for concentricity, rigidity and accuracy in repeatability. Because of its compact design the system is ideal for tools with internal cooling.

Increase of efficiency and machining quality The modular quick change system BENZ CAPTO™ guarantees an extremely compact desgin by being integrated into the spindle. Special clamping kinetics for clamping forces are noticeably below the required range of ISO/DIS 26623-2. BENZ CAPTO™ can be used for milling, drilling and turning, with up to 100 bar coolant pressure. The system is especially suited for heavy duty milling and machining.
