Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride, or NADH or coenzyme 1 for short, is the biologically active form of vitamin B3 (niacin). In our bodies, NADH acts as a biological spark plug for numerous metabolic processes by enabling the normal progression of chemical reactions.
