Cylinders with Ertalyte piston rods are particularly suitable for use in the food and chemical industries. High resistance to acids, good electrical insulating properties, wear resistance, excellent sliding properties and even resistance to gamma rays or X-rays allow it to be used under difficult conditions. For the use of pneumatic cylinders in environments with radioactive radiation, we also stock cylinders with radiation-resistant seals.

SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR GAS STORAGE With the Lipp gas holder Lipp offers a tried and tested system solution which is complete in itself, for unpressurised storage of biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas. This solution is chiefly used for municipal waste water treatment plants and landfills. Due to its design, as well as high functional and operational safety, it also ensures low maintenance costs over a very long service life. This is mainly because the sensitive gas holder is protected against UV radiation and other environmental influences by a steel container manufactured with the Lipp dual seam system. Furthermore, this construction method allows an exact leak test and highly accurate metrological monitoring of the gas fill level. Both aspects are essential for safe and efficient plant operation. With certification according to § 19 WHG for Lipp GmbH and DVGW approval of the gas storage tank, further conditions are met for use in municipal waste water treatment plants.

The BS-02+ is a compact irradiation chamber for performing photostability tests according to ICH Q1B and VICH GL5 for medical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Irradiation is performed with UVA radiation and visible light according to option 2 of the ICH Q1B guideline. With a footprint of 46 x 32 cm and a height of up to 20 cm, the irradiation chamber provides space for samples. The sample chamber temperature during operation is approx. 25 °C, so that thermal damage to the samples is avoided. Due to the high homogeneity of the irradiation, the specimens can be positioned as desired. In accordance with the ICH Q1B guideline, modern LED light sources with a „Cool White“ emission (ISO 10977) and UVA fluorescent lamps are used. The UVA fluorescent lamps emit a maximum between 350nm and 370nm.

Our radiator valves DIN 42560 type B and type B OR for transformers are designed to be mounted between two flanges or between tank wall flange and radiator flange. The flange is made of forged steel S355J2G3 and thus not subject to any leakage. Flange thickness is h=40 mm with recessed body. Our radiator valves DIN 42560 B and B OR NW 80 fulfill the tightness requirements and operating conditions in accordance with DIN 42560 as well as EN 50216-8. Due to the metal sealed clap a low leakage is permitted while the soft-sealed radiator valve is absolutely oil and vacuum-tight (zero-leakage). Both variations are absolutely tight in operation condition to the outside of the transformer.

Our radiator valves DIN 42560 type A and type A OR are designed to be welded onto the transformer wall or on connection pipes. The radiator will be flanged on the four M16 holes (PCD=160 mm). The housing of the radiator valve is made of forged steel S355J2G3 and thus not subject to any leakage as it may occur with casted housing. Due to the metal sealed clap a low leakage is permitted while the soft-sealed radiator valve is absolutely oil- and vacuum-tight. Both types are absolutely tight in operation condition to the outside. Our welding neck radiator valves DIN 42560 type A NW 80 fulfil the tightness requirements and operating conditions in accordance with DIN 42560 as well as EN 50216-8.
