ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE, MAINTENANCE FREE AND PROTECTED AGAINST EXTERNAL EFFECTS The pressureless gas storage system of Lipp is used for the storage of gas produced on landfill sites, waste water treatment plants and also as external storage on biogas plants. The system is determined by its robust and technical advanced construction where the gas balloon is protected by a galvanized steel tank. This protects the balloon against UV light and also other external factors. The system is mostly utilized at landfill sites or WWTP to buffer the gas before its further processing. The experience gained during the past decades has improved the complete system and the single components and makes it a perfect choice for end users and general contractors.

The GEMÜ N082, N182 and N782 pressure reducers ensure that a constant outlet pressure is maintained in process plant utilizing the pressure differential.If the pressure rises on the outlet side, the spring force is lower and the valve closes as the spring is raised. The pressure is reduced until the spring force and the outlet pressure are the same. If the pressure falls, the valve opens as the spring force presses against the diaphragm surface via the control aperture. The outlet pressure can be read off a diaphragm-protected pressure gauge (not available for N782) and the spring force adjusted using a set screw as required. - The working pressure can be very easily adjusted using a set screw and secured with the integrated lock nut. The EEX Line includes spring-pressure single-disc brakes provided with explosion protection for explosion-hazardous areas. The spring-pressure brake with firedamp protection is suitable for underground excavations with danger of firedamp. In spring-pressure brakes with explosion protection, those parts which might ignite explosive mixtures are incorporated in a housing. If the mixture inside the housing explodes, the latter prevents a transfer of the explosion to the mixtures surrounding the housing. The brake is equipped with four thermal circuit breakers and one micro-switch. The micro-switch prevents starting against the unlifted brake. The thermal circuit breakers are series-connected with the micro-switch and interrupt the control circuit of the machine as soon as there is an inadmissibly high temperature at the brake. The brake is seawater-resistant. By means of the attached hand lifting feature, the braking effect can be manually neutralized.
