The GEMÜ Q40 2/2-way pinch valve has a stainless steel piston actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve guides a tube which is compressed from above by a compressor to control and regulate media. The compressor's specially developed contour and the inserts' contour minimise the strain on the tube and thus increase the tubes' service life. Tubes can be safely inserted and removed in simple steps and without tools. The available control functions are "normally closed (NC)" and "normally open (NO)". An integral optical position indicator is standard

The GEMÜ 554 2/2-way angle seat globe valve has a plastic piston actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve spindle is sealed by a self-adjusting gland packing or a compact seal cartridge, dependent on the size and version. A wiper ring or the wiper contour of the seal cartridge additionally protects the valve spindle against contamination and damage. It is used where hydraulic or pneumatic solutions are not possible. The holding force is created by the proven spring-operated clamping system as it is used in SITEMA’s hydraulically or pneumatically operated Locking Units. At a drop of the control voltage or in case of failure of the electric supply, the Locking Unit KFE clamps automatically. Therefore, it is also suitable for use in safety relevant applications. To operate the Locking Unit KFE, a supply voltage of 24 V and a control signal for the input command “clamp/release” are sufficient. In particular applications, it can be necessary to hold high axial forces and torque at the same time. For pneumatic operation, our Locking Unit series KFPD meets this demand. Depending in the size, forces / torques of 12 kN / 120 Nm or 30 kN / 500 Nm can be held securely. The “normal” SITEMA Locking Units KFH are already able to hold smaller torque. Example: 280 Nm with, at the same time, an axial holding force of 100 kN on rod diameter 56. In case higher torque needs to be held, SITEMA’s special design series KFHD can help. With this design, it is possible to hold torque with a factor of 10 higher compared to the standard KFH unit. Example: 2800 Nm with, at the same time, an axial holding force of 100 kN on rod diameter 56. Whether the operation is pneumatic or hydraulic, the application is limited to static holding. The KFPD and KFHD can prevent a rotation from starting, but are not suitable to brake rotating masses.

The pneumatically operated directional valves VK are robust, reliable and can be installed in a variety of ways. Installation in-line, on the wall, on modules, as a battery or directly on cylinders is possible without any problems. Available sizes between 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 in 3/2, 5/2 and 5/3.

Spit nozzle SD 17: version for pin-point and linear application The pneumatically operated SD 17 is also available as a spit nozzle version. The fully spray valve has been specifically developed for pin point and linear application of oils, release agents and other low-viscosity media; it maintains its precision at certain distances between the nozzle and the application object. The spit nozzle SD 17 is particularly suitable for precision lubrication tasks of components and tools; it can also be setup for higher viscosities via an optionally selectable heating unit.

Dosing systems DOS: Perfectly controlled oil feed rates Thanks to automated control of the oil feed rate DOS series dosing systems offer the highest levels of efficiency and flexibility in your lubrication processes – and it does not matter if continuous lubrication is desired or just a single drop is required. The machine cycle time determines the interval at which the lubrication valves open. The following DOS dosing systems are available from us: DOS 10 MR, DOS 10 MR H: system for pneumatically operated roller lubricators WF 60 WG, WF 110 WG, WF 110 MOT. Optionally available with poppet valve DOS 40: reservoir and control unit are separate. Also available for squeeze-on lubricators, but without pressure vessel (replacement: VB 10). DOS S: version for sector lubrication; in this case the oil feed for each roller can be programmed separately (via PLC). The GEMÜ 650TL diaphragm valve is a manual tapping valve with automatic closing function which is pneumatically operated. The "keep-closed" override of manual operation is via a stainless steel handwheel. The valve can only be operated (opened / closed), if a control medium is applied to the actuator. The GEMÜ 1235 electrical position indicator is suitable for mounting to pneumatically operated linear actuators. The position of the valve spindle is electronically detected and evaluated through play-free and non-positive mounting. Intelligent microprocessor controlled functions make commissioning and support during operation easier. The current position of the valve is displayed via high-visibility LEDs and fed back via electrical signals.
